Best Scare of Night #1 Monday - Living Doll character

Two girls in front clinging to each other.

Two boys behind the girls....one clinging to the other as he tried to walk....

I was behind the door basically and one of the girls saw me as she looked back at the boys. The one boy that was clinging desperately to his friend saw the girl look behind the door and turned to see what she was looking at and I started creeping out into the blacklight (showing my make up and dress in the blacklight) and he started screaming his head off. It was somewhat a manly scream. Props for that. I couldn't tell if he was trying to run but his friend/shield wasn't running with him or if he was just gonna use his friend as a shield. He ended up circling his friend a few times while I approached them so he could get on the opposite side that I was. I went up to the girls and one girl simply stated "You are creepy". Well, gee. I was asking if they'd stay and play toys with me directed to the boys as they were going out of my room and the one stood tall and tried to walk with a somewhat surprised look on his face as he realizes how scared his friend is. I can just see him thinking in his mind "I didnt know a double date ment you clinging to my arm the whole time while the girls were in front of us, how embarrassing, for you" The clinging boy was cowering behind him and gripping/hugging his arm to death. The way he answered my questions as he was leaving was awesomely funny. "no, NO I'm not staying, I dont wanna play, I dont want tooo" Now I'm not an expert, but I'm pritti sure that was real due to the fact he knew I was coming after him after he saw me creeping out toward him. Haha I can still his stance as he let out a scream that was the loudest and longest I've heard in my own room.

The number two scare of the night I'd have to say was a girl who buried her face in the side of her guy and clung as he tried to walk. I came up from behind her and was quiet this time. She got a glance of the room and decided she seriously hated dolls/clowns inside and buried her head. As she stated her dislike of dolls her guy said "Well, yer not gonna like whats behind you then" and she screams a lil and literally shaking while attempting to bury her head deeper and I just simply say "Don't you want to play?" I wasn't in her ear or super close which she was prolly used to, but she still jumped a mile high and she didn't even get to see me! Her guy thought it was funny. I liked the introduction to my presence.

I think its funny, apparently the Castle and the Mansion have rules of no swearing, ironic since we are the ones that provoke swearing in others. For reasons I can't really fathom, if I sit still in the room they think I'm fake. Seriously a doll THAT big sitting in that chair? Not real? Whatever. Kinda cool to learn new things you cant see for yourself. There was a couple that came in and I jumped out of my chair toward the guy and I received a "oh shit" in response. I don't think he was paying attention looking at something in his pocket or his glowing shirt. I dunno. That was an easy one. On one girl I snuck up on I received a "Jesus". Sometimes words are funnier than screams, sometimes not.

I liked being a doll. I got to dress in pink and got pink make up. eee! They wanted me to be Bubbles the Clown. HA. Kill me now. A) I HATE clowns and B) I can't laugh all night. But who knows what I'll be tonight. Brian, one of the guys in charge is really cute and so is Cameron the make up man who did my make up, even tho he's a liar. "It didnt get in your eye, open yer eyes" "Ah! It stings!" "oh, okay, maybe it did, sorry"....

One thing I tried was sitting on the metal toy car in the corner where they cant see me at first and just rattle the steering wheel and laugh creepily the whole time like I'm possessed. A lot of ppl got a kick out of that. More funny than scary I believe. But it was kinda fun when I had my voice.

I quickly learned coming from behind the door was the best way to scare, the only issue I couldn't figger out is whether its best to come sneaky and quiet or just a dead run and stomping loudly coming from behind them. Some came quietly and I stomped loudly, some were super loud talking and I'd just sneak up and around them in their face. It worked all sorts of ways. I dunno. I did enjoy the groups of girls that got halfway into the room and heard me stomping toward them and they didn't even look they just hugged each other and screamed. Anywho...

It was super awesome, super long to dress and make up and super hot in the rooms running around. Even longer if you didn't eat dinner. Sweating in my long sleeve jacket and pants with a dress on top. My make up was sweating off I could feel it. Once you get in your room you dont leave for 3 hours. I was suprised how fast my voice went out. They came around and gave us suckys, some with honey in it so we'd have honey and our water to save our voices. The crew came around often to check on you so it was kinda...awkward wondering if yer supposed to jump out and scare the bosses of the place or not... So I did a half hearted job at that and I don't know if they think thats how I really perform. I hope not. I'm better than that really. Sometimes they'd come to tell us things or just ask if we're okay.

The only bad parts so far is that you'd think the ppl scaring would be well, responsible mature adults that just like the opportunity to give a healthy scare, yeah no, these are the immature teenagers still in high school, the immature adults that never made it to college and something other to do than drugs, drinking, or gaming. It seemed like a grudgy bunch, but hey, they are willing to scare and they are pritti good at it and they do it for free. And well, I look like I fit in the high school group so its all good. Along with that I had some like 16 yr old or something in the room next to me who could not sit still and could NOT shut up. They come to my room first and then hers and she keeps coming in to see and/or ask if someone is coming. I dont know! Thats the point. Go away. Shut up, they can hear you. She stood in the doorway once while I was sitting on the floor and ppl were IN the room and she was asking me what time it was and all these questions. Gah. Shut up! They heard her talking to a doll in the room and of course I was real to them then... Stupid annoying girls.

Then you get the stupid/stubborn/haughty type people that come through the mansion. Those ppl irk me. Sometimes I'd follow them til they left my room and I can only roll my eyes at their non-reactions or stupid questions or whatever. Then you have the idiots that think they went the wrong way and come back into your room and you have to tell them in character to go back the other way. Hey Idiots, Turn around and get out of my room! Oy.

Apparently I won the "Rookie of the Night" Award at our meeting I skipped out on afterward. They have a lack of communication when it comes to what we are supposed to be doing and with who, when, where, how, why, how long, what for, etc. Woo. I thought a shower was better for me at the time.
