1010

Feeling: lethargic

I went to my first actual rock concert with a band I know.

Good Charlotte. In the Venue. March 19, 2011 with Evan.

We got T-shirts. Mines purple that says Good Charlotte in cursive.

The first two bands that played were cool, but it just wasnt as fun as Charlotte and actually knowing the words/songs and having an opinion of what they play.

Then after he got his parking ticket we went home and decided to watch Paranormal Activity. I was sitting up and he was on his stomach and everytime they'd show nighttime and the couple sleeping he'd like crawl into my lap and suggest that something creepy was going to happen and then say "just watch, just watch". I wasn't creeped out until he'd crawl into my lap and say scary was coming. Oy. But it was kinda freaky. We saw the alternative ending and it wasn't as good. They left it open for a sequel, which there is, with the original. I think I actually got scared. The last movie to scare me was Cloverfield. There's something about those 'home video' movies that make it seem so much more real and then I have to have some proof that these ppl really didn't just capture that on film in their normal lives.

Needless to say it was interesting getting to sleep that night, and still a few nights later I still think about it while laying in bed waiting for something to grab my foot and drag me down the hall or wondering if I stand up next to the bed for 2.5 hours randomly in the middle of the night as if sleep walking.

Friday is when we went to the library and got that movie. I walked in the library and I hear this whisper of my name and I'm looking around then I see this guy with a huge/long goatee waving at me behind the counter and I realize its Danny from the bus (I wanted to call him Brian for some reason) from when I took the UTA to college. It was kinda awesome to see him again. Turns out he flirts with all the girls that come to the library, he's been there awhile, everyone seems to know him. hah He's so popular. He says when I leave "You know where to find me". What does that mean?

Saturday Evans Ma and Pa came to town again and they wanted to have a 'picnic' at noon. It was super windy and super cold, but no rain, so they continued. Everyone ended up either in a car to protect themselves or running around the field with the kids to keep warm. This is the second time I've met/seen his parents and his dad gave me a side hug before I left. o.O His brother David was there to ask me questions. Evan says he's a dork and judges ppl.

His daughters were there so I got to meet them for the first time. He's got a sporty tom girl, he's got a princess (whiny princess?) and then the youngest is well, how do you describe them? They are always so diff from the rest of their siblings. The outgoing, spunky, kid? All blonde. Interesting combination. He wasn't the kind of father I was imagining in my head after how he was with Cole...

Then Sunday we went to Music and Spoken Word and came back. We laid in bed until like 2:30 and went to part of church and then came back, ate lunch/dinner and laid in bed again and talked for hours. It was kind of awesome. A slight waste of day... in a way... and slightly not.

It was an awesome weekend.
