I passed my Notary test yesterday! Finally! A year later...but still. So exciting! I only missed one out of 65!

After waiting a year, they made it more user friendly so it was easier to do it. This time there was no time limit, you could use the study guide during the test, and the study guide was...actually helpful. I didn't have to call them and pay ahead of time. I didn't have to wait for them to email me the test and download all that gunk just to take the test. The study guide was all the codes and legal mumbo jumbo that if you read it so many times you'll have no clue what it was originally trying to say. But this study guide was like for dummies "these are the important (4 point) questions" and "these are the one point questions" and "read the bold and italics", etc. It was just a user name and password, take the test, get results and fill out application. Woot woot! Still the same 65 hard questions, but I got it! I haven't taken a test for like two years. I was nervous.

Then I took the application home to have Grandma sign it being a UT resident and Dallin called while I was staring at my application and he was asking about notaries. I said I'm going to be one soon!! Elated. Another step in helping my career! It took awhile, it was difficult, but I got it done!

The boss was all frustrated yesterday morning that he had to go find a Notary for his paperwork and grumbled 'you need to get your notary'. I thought it was the long process of calling, paying, waiting, downloading, etc., but I stumbled upon the test on accident, oh crap, pulled up the study guide and continued. That was a HUGE burden off my shoulders. Hence me putting it off for about a year...

Now maybe I'll have the courage to finish other things that I've put off for a year, like the families Wills and organizing Outlook and the like. This office is gonna be so user friendly for the next secretary if needed, maybe even the boss will figger it out!

And on top of that exciting note, I just cleared my credit card. Like 0.00 balance and I paid all my bills yesterday (I planned it perfectly) and transfered the money I saved for vacation into my active account. :D I'm totally ready for vacation, mentally and financially! It feels good to be prepared in both ways! I got this. I totally got this, yo.
