why the fuck do we have to have these fucking lame arguments over msn!?!?!? so now me and kyle had an argument about the direction of our band. how i feel is this: we all have different perceptions of what we want it to be. but at the moment, they're going in a totally textbook direction. hairy muff, we're a metal band, but i don't want to end up 'the same', if you get what i'm saying. there's so many metal bands today, many sound exactly the same, 'i hate my dad' or 'i'm depressed, boo-fucking-hoo'. i mean, kyle and kris are writing some great lyrics, but fuck, it's going down the path of no return. one of my early ideas was using already written gothic poetry as lyrics. no, it was shunned. we always said we were going to re-invent metal, innovate, be original. i can't help but feel this way when the lyrics that are being written, great lyrics they are, are going in the direction of 'new skids on the block'. please, god, don't let us go emo. *sob* what to do??????? : P
