guess who i saw today... joseph marcell. for all you morose bastards who don't know who that is, that's GEOFFREY the butler from the fresh prince of bel-air. i went to see hamlet at the hexagon today, and he played king claudius. i squirted when he came on stage. more worrying is the fact that i got totally turned on by two of the ghost scenes in the play. more exciting today, i came up with the characters for my piece of creative writing for english language earlier. listening to closer by NIN helped inspire the characters. list of characters: alice - 10 year old girl who's only friends are a homeless man and her imaginary friend... homeless man - has multiple personalities, one nice, one cynical and one psychotic. social worker - a young black woman who lost her daughter and within the confines of insanity, sees alice as her daughter. mr. and mrs. X - alice's foster parents. big firm owners, they torture alice and keep her locked up in the basement. trent reznor - alice's imaginary friend, speaks only in nine inch nails lyrics. i want the original writing to be in the form of a play, but if that idea gets rejected, it'll have to be a short story, which sucks, because i'm no good at short stories. what do y'all think of my characters? : P
