So I'm freakin DONE with school for two months. Fin. Over. Finished. Completed. All that jazz... and I told Laur today that this semester is probably the most proud I feel of my grades. I got out of Chemistry with a 85 [Chem. was a bitch for me all year]. I probably kept my 80 in Algebra 2. I got out of Bailey's class with a 90. A 96 in US history and another A in Spanish. And I actually tried for those grades in those classes and am happy with what I did get and receive. That's more than I can say for my previous semesters. And now, I only have two left. I even gave my Spanish teacher a hug as I was leaving her class since she'll be at Whitewater next year. I barely ever talk to my teachers, let alone hug them. I went over to Erika's house today with Arlene. We went to her neighborhood pool and swam for a bit, ate some Mexican food, watched a movie, took a walk and then sat around talking until 10:30. It was really enjoyable and I was reminded again of how much fun just talking and being with amazing people could be. It sucks that they'll be places this June or I would do that with them more often. Is it weird that all of my friends [except one or two] aren't white? Haha. John said it was... Much love.
