Carmen: [voiceover] It would be easy to say that the pants changed everything that summer. But looking back now I feel like our lives changed because they had to, and that the real magic of the pants was in bearing witness to all of this and in somehow holding us together when it felt like nothing would ever be the same again. [pause] Carmen: Some things never would be Lena: But we know now that no matter how far we traveled on our own separate paths... Bridget: Somehow we would always find our way back to each other. Tibby: And with that, we could get through anything. Bridget: To us. Who we were, and who we are. And who we'll be. Tibby: To the pants. Lena: And the sisterhood. Carmen: And this moment, and the rest of our lives. Carmen, Lena, Bridget, Tibby: Together and apart. I decided that this is going to be us. You, me and Ali that is... because there's not really a fourth person. At least, according to me there's not. But anyhow, the three of us are always going to keep in touch... no matter where life takes us. And after watching One Tree Hill last night, I realized that life's going to take us in very unexpected places... but in the end, we'll always end up back together... because we'll always be best friends. That's my promise to you... and to Ali. Or more like a threat... because it's almost like I'm saying that you'll never be able to get rid of me. I guess it's however you look at it... but either way, that's how it's going to be. So you're just going to have to learn to deal with it =)
