words of wisdom

After reading your entry "Are you saved?" I thought you could use some "words of wisdom" and since I don't have any, I found these bible verses. Hopefully one of them helps you :) ------------------------- Psalm 32:8 (direction) The Lord says, "I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you." Col 2:6-7 NIV (faith) So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. Eph 2:8 (faith) For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-- and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God (NIV) Deuteronomy 31:8 NIV (seperation) "The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." ------------------------------ Emily, It's okay to feel the way you do. There's going to be times that you feel like you couldn't be closer to God... and there's going to be times that you feel like you couldn't be further away. You're going to have ups and downs. You're going to succeed and you're going to fail. You're going to have days where you have all the faith in the world, and days where you have none. The amazing thing is that God's going to be there with you, through all of it. He has never, is never, and will never leave you. Whether you're ontop of the highest hill.... or in the deepest valley, he's there with you. Whether you read your bible once a day... or you read it once a year, he's there with you. We're not perfect, and nobody knows that better than He does. He made you the way you are, and He'll never stop loving you. That's all you need to know.
