I'm off to see Choke at the cinema in about 45 minutes. I'm excited, plus I haven't read the book yet so I won't be disappointed at the details they leave out or change. I have to have my 1000 word portfolio for next wednesday, have to read it out in the lecture and then be critiqued by my peers. I wasn't so nervous until today, until some of the class did theirs and I realised the quality of the talent. Argh! ********************************************* Ok! I was totally disappointed by that film. Not worth £7 plus sweets and an ice junkie that's for sure. I'm also ridiculously excited because me gary charlotte adam and chris are moving in together next year yay!

we go to all of his gigs, first sat of each month in music box in manchester and its a tny intimate gig and we always get right up at the front and we knw him now. so we went to glasto and after his gig we hung around to say well done n all that jazz and i just asked him if he wanted to come back to our tent for a smoke and he said yes! haha it was awesome xx
Moving in with friends can be really ridiculously fun. And I'm definitely taking your advice on that movie. At the very least, I'll just try not to get my hopes too high.

Good luck on your portfolio! Ugh, I'm still absolutely terrified of public speaking. I'm sure you'll do great, though :)

i loved the movie, more than the book, actually.
hmm i was thinking "hey, yeah, i should watch movies BEFORE i read the book" but then the movie might turn me off from the book altogether...hm. I read part of Choke but i was borrowing it from someone and they wanted it back before i finished. sorry that the movie sucked though :(
yeah manchester is where i go n most of my nights out. search mr scruff on the internet. his music is amazing a mix of funk,soul, house, hip hop, dnb etc. went for smoke with him in glasto year before last! xx
