Listening to: "Strong Enough" By: Stacie Orrico
Feeling: accomplished
Hey Jimbo, that title is for you...hope it makes you smile in remembrance.
Well yesterday Lori Mefford came over with Daisy. I was so excited b/c Lori always puts me in a happy mood and it was already a BEAUTIFUL day. Daisy is her little chihuahua, she brought her to meet my chihuahia Skippy. I gave her the picture I colored for her of "Robbymodo" hahaha (INSIDE JOKE). Then we went walking around the apartments. Ahhh memories. When Lori lived here and I didn't we used to go walking ALL the time...I mean ALL the time...especially in the spring & summer. Usually it was just me & her, but sometimes Jenni would come along and Lauren b/c she lived here too. Those were some good times. Anyhow~ me, Lori, Daisy, Skippy (and even Kiwi) went walking. We walked a mile and talked and stuff. It felt great...and the sun was shining! =D I had on a tshirt with a light sweat jacket on. I got so hot I wanted to just walk around in the tshirt, but I didn't b/c I knew when ever the wind decided to blow I would be cold.
After walking, we came back up to the apartment and talked and she looked at pictures and stuff. Then I went with her to Walgreens to pick up her prescription which she didn't end up getting b/c it is ridiculously expensive w/out health insurance. Then she took us to Sonic and she bought my supper. AW. I had a Jr. cheeseburger, mozzarella stix w/marinara sauce, and a sweet tea. yummm. She dropped me back home around 8 and she left. She is moving out w/2 of her Applebees friends this weekend, so she wants me to come by her townhouse NEXT Tuesday which is her 27th birthday also.
I was online most of the night after that working on my webpage. I totally changed my main page around. I got rid of AngelGlitterz and made a new one...but you can get to my new one from Angelglitterz , there is a link. I also gave Kiwi & Skippy baths~ they weren't too thrilled about that lol. I talked to Heather and her church is going to see "the passion of christ" on Sat. March 6th and she asked me to go b/c guests get to go free!! Even if I had to pay I would go (if I had the money), b/c I want to see that SOOO bad. So yay. Katie might be going too as well as Brandon & Amy. It will be awesome.
Umm, I was goign to go to Mary's tonight to get that chair of my Dad's that was his mom's that I just think is an awesome chair. But Mary forgot she had choir practice and I have to go somewhere else so I am just going to go tomorrow. =0) I am going to Jimmy & Sherry's at 8 to visit them and I MIGHT be going to Emily's after that to have pizza roll and watch a movie. yay! Well...I'm out for now...but until next time...here are the lyrics to my favorite Stacie Orrico song which has not been released as a single on Christian or Mainstream radio...it's on my CD and I just love it...it is how I feel right now..and is also one of the songs she wrote herself. It is just beautiful...
"Strong Enough"
By: Stacie Orrico
As I rest against this cold, hard wall
Will you pass me by?
Will you criticize me as I sit and cry?
I had fought so hard and thought that all my battles had been won
Only to find the war has just begun
Is He not strong enough?
Is He not pure enough?
To break me, pour me out, and start again
Is He not brave enough?
To take one chance on me
Please can I have one chance to start again?
Will my weakness for an hour
Make me suffer for a life time
Is there anyway to be made whole again?
If I'm healed, renewed and find forgiveness
Find the strength I've never had
Will my scars forever ruin all God's plan?
Is He not strong enough?
Is He not pure enough?
To break me, pour me out, and start again
Is He not brave enough?
To take one chance on me
Please can I have one chance to start again?
He took my life into his hands and it turned it all around
In my most desperate circumstance
It's there I finally found
That You are strong enough
That You are pure enough
To break me, pour me out and start again
That You are brave enough
To take one chance on me
Oh Thank You for my chance to start again
