Whats up? Today is Monday. THis weekend went by WAY too fast...I was busy the entire time. I dont think Bob saw me at home but for a total of like an hour all weekend haha. It was a GREAT weekend though! I saw lots of friends, family, and best of all had lots of worship time! I wrote all about Friday and Saturday..soo yesterday was Sunday! I woke up at 9 and got ready for church! I picked up Marci at 10:10. To my surprise Stephanie went with us to church again too as well as Marci's brother Daniel who just got out of jail (how awesome is that, that he wanted to go to church!) So it was cool. We went to Inskip United Methodist Church this time. The other Inskip church we went to was the Baptist. Anyways, I dont really care too much for Methodist churches. No offense though. It was a beautiful church...but it was just too conservative and stuffy for me. I felt like I was going to seminary and was in a lecture rather than worshipping at church! But still yet, better to be in the house of God than not at all!!! Anyways, after church we all went to Burger King on Clinton Hwy and had lunch. After that, Marci went with me to Walmart to blow up pictures for my Aunt Peggy. So we did and framed them and we drove around listening to my praise & worship CD I burned myself. Marci also rode with me up to Daddy's grave...it's the first time I didnt go alone. I never wanted anyone to go with me before because I got too emotional...but I have a peace there now...so it was okay. :) Then, I dropped Marci off and went to my Aunt Peggy's and gave her pictures to her and visited with her for about an hour & a half. We had a nice little chat...she told me family stories that I of course didnt know details about such as her dad dying and Martha Sue and other things. I left her house at 4 and met Jimmy & Sherry over at my stepbrother James' house. Dina and NIcholas were there too along with James' kids & wife Stacey. So it was cool seeing everyone. It's been awhile! Jimmy & I dug through Mary's boxes she has stored there...and out of all that junk that she left there the only thing meaningful of Daddys that she didnt sell that we ended up leaving with was a wallet and a bible. But whatever. So anyways, we left James' and I picked Marci up at 5:30 to go to church again. We went to Dante Church of God (the last church my Dad went to...as well as my Aunt Peggy's church). It started at 6 and was almost 2 hours long. It was one of those awesome services where the holy spirit starts moving and doesnt even give the preacher a chance to preach! Marci had only been to one other pentecostal church so she didnt like it too much...but it's my kinda worship service!! It was awesome. God was truly there healing people. There was a girl that couldnt have been any older than 14 that went down to the altar to be prayed for and she was there for 30 minutes just crying & praying & praising & lifting her hands...it was a beautiful thing to see someone so young and full of God! At the end of the service Bro. Snyder got up there and was thanking visitors for coming and he put the spotlight on me...it totally took me by surprise b/c he didnt do that Wednesday night. He announced in front of the church "Im awfully glad to have these ladies here tonight" and he pointed at us then he said "Im really bad with remembering names...but I like to call her Sister Presley Jr"! That totally made me smile! He was calling me Presley Jr. b/c of Daddy. Then he started talking about how Jim Presley was my Daddy and how Daddy got the bus ministry started in the church and how he was such a blessing & this and that...and then he thanked us for coming again and told me to come back and said that they needed me. Aw. It was too sweet. I know I was just beaming!!! It was too awesome. Anyways, I didnt get home until close 9:30 pm last night and had been gone all day since 10 that morning!! Craziness. I was so tired so I went straight to bed at 9:30...well then I started thinkging about alot of things (not bad things) just stuff that I kept thinking about and couldnt get out of my head so I tossed & turned for about an hour until finally I got up at 10:30 and finished downloading songs for the CD Im making Kristi. I made her CD and then went to bed!!! It was about 11:30 when I went to bed I guess. Now here I sit at work! Well, gonna go now...hope everyone else had as much of a blessed weekend as I did!!!!!! <3 <3 <3
