HEY!!! Well it's been awhile! I was at the beach all last week. I got back on Sunday June 27th and I have been straight busy since then and havnt had time to write, but now I am trying to find it. ;) Ya know what? I am so excited. I just saw Kenny Chesneys new video on GAC. I have heard the song a bunch on the radio...it's called "I Go Back" and I figured he wrote it about Knoxville...but I wasn't sure if he did, or if someone else just wrote it for him to sing. Well, the video is so cool b/c they actually shot some of it in Knoxville! I dunno when, but how cool is that. It shows the Gibbs High School sign, the old Gibbs gym, and it even shows pictures of Kenny when he went there like in his football uniform and on his graduation day. That is so exciting. And in parts of the video he is wearing a Gibbs Eagles football jersey! It's awesome that he has so much KNoxville pride! Anyways- check it out if you get a chance. Another new song I like alot is Sara Evans "Suds in the Bucket"...it is adorable and the video is even cuter. Anyways, ok I am going to do this as briefly as possible...writing what I did each day at the beach b/c I wrote it down daily while I was there b/c I knew I would forget. Saturday June 19th- The day before we left. Me & mom went over to Bob & Sara's to swim with Shawn, Jimmy, & Sherry. Bob had cooked more chicken, hamburger, and steak. I gave Bob his Fathers Day presents...2 Orange County Choppers tees. He LOVES that show. We were there for a few hours and then I went to finish packing and then went to Walmart to get some stuff I needed & headed to Jimmy's house to take Kiwi there so they could dogsit for us all week. I got to see Paco!!! :) I left there and got to Julies around 10:30ish. I went to bed at 11:30 and Sunday June 20th-I slept for about 4 hours when I had to get up and be ready to leave for the beach. MOm & Sara had trickled into Julies after I fell asleep. They all had about 45 minutes of sleep. We met at Kathy's and hit the road. I rode w/Kathy, Julie, Becca & Bethany first b/c Sara was already gettin on my nerves. lol. I rode halfthe way with them and then got in the car with mom, Sara, & Kristen. Sara drove us for about 2 hours. SHe drove through this cute town with gorgeous houses called Eufala, Alabama. I so want to live there. The houses looked like the "Carmichel" plantation in the movie Sweet Home Alabama! lol. I drove from about Dothan to Panama City Beach I think. The trip there was kinda bad. We drove through a horrible rainstorm (as soon as I took over the wheel go figure)and then we had to pull over b/c Kathy pulled over to let Julie throw up. aww. Finally we reached our destination. ANd ironically, the hotel we stayed at was almost diagonally across the street from the First Baptist Chruch I stayed at for camp those 3 years. We had drama b/c our room that was in the main hotel part was nasty~ they called it a 3BR suite, it was more like 3 trashy motel rooms connected...so Sara cried & threw a fit and we got to move to a condo...but it was only open for 3 days so we had to move to the villas after that~ so even though they are both more expensive than what we had reserved, we got it for the same price since we had to move! =) We got settled in our pretty condo and me & Brittanie went to the ocean! Then we went to one ofthe 6 pools with Sara & KRisten. After that I went upstairs and passed out at 9 pm. I learned that mom & Kathy went to the grocery tsore while I slept and they had some purse theif drama going on! lol. Monday June 21st- It was a beautiful Day! I woke up at 9:30 and everyone got ready to go out to the beach. THe water was as calm as a lake and you could see straight to the bottom way FAR out and so we all swam for hours & hours. We had fun chasing angelfish with our goggles & underwater cameras. Kristen picked up a pretty spiral shell off the ocean floor and was like "look what I found" in my face and then I saw a crab claw poke out and I screamed, she dropped it and we swam away really quick! We all got ready & went to Pineapple Willy's to eat. It was a cool place that was a pier like thing that we sat outside and ate on. Mom made a joke about some Nuclear shrimp...it was funny. Julie bought me a green tee from there and I bought Rachel's souvenier from there. After that we all went shopping at Shipwreck Limited and then when we got back to the hotel we went to the tiki bar for a few minutes. Tuesday June 22- It was kinda sprinkly and waves were choppy so while everyone else went to the beach and stuff me & mom went riding. I drove by the old church and took a pic of it for memories sake and then went to Panama Speedway the gokart track that my dads best friend Gene Ray owned. It was shut down and looked really bad. =( Sad. I guess people fade & so do things & places. I remember when dad took me there when I was 10 and we got free go kart rides everyday. It was open just 3 years ago b/c the church ewnt & they gave us a discount b/c Daddy called down there for us. I miss that man so much. ANYWAYS- then me & mom went to a few tattoo shops b/c I wanted to get one before we left the beach. Wednesday June 23rd- On Wednesday we moved to the villas...which was like a townhouse and the ocean was our backyard. It was great. We did the whole ocean thing and then went out to eat at Sharkys where we had a hilarious time wiht Robert our funny waiter and the MOUND of tomatoes he brought me lol. Me, Julie, & Kathy were cryign we were laughing so hard! Not to mention the funky live singer they had. She scared us. After eating we took Kristen to get her belly button pierced and then Sara got the lower part of her belly button pierced. Thursday June 24th- I slept in. I kinda hung out in the house half the day watchign "Newlyweds", "The Ashlee Simpson Show", and "Boiling Point". Then I went to the beach in the late afternoon and played frisbee with Becca & Bethany. We all went to the pool for a late night swim b/c it stayed open 24 hours. I got in the hottub adn then went to the daquiri & smoothie bar hut thing with Kathy, mom & Julie. We got back to the house and played "Balderdash" until like 4 am and I burned the cookies. =( Friday June 25th- I laid out in the sun for a long time and got in the ocean & pool. Then we out to eat at "Calypsos" and then me & Sara were gonna do the slingshot but as soon as we pulled in they started closing b/c it started raining & lightning. Saturday June 26th- GOt up at early to do beach activities. Mom,Kathy, Sara, Brittanie, Becca & Bethany all went for a ride on the banana boat. Me & Julie then rode the banana boat out to the parasail boat and then went parasailing. It was cool. It was my 2nd time, but Julies first...but my first tiem being dipped in the water! That evening we tried to go out toeat at Captain Andersons, The Boatyard, and HammerHead Freds's but they were all like more than an hour wait...some drama broke out and we had a family fight and that consumed alot of our evening. Then we finally got over it and me, Kathy & Kristen went to get my tattoo. We went to Tracer's and this cool dude did it. I got a red heart with angel wings, a halo and a black V line underneath on my lower back. Its so cute...but it hurt like the devil! BAD. BUt I am glad I got it! =0) I have pictures on my webpage that Im gonna post soon! Sunday June 27th- got up at 8:30 and left PCB at 10. I drove for about 4 and a half hours and then mom took over. With the stopping & taking people home we didnt get home until midnight! ugh! Then I had to get up Monday morning at 6 to be at work at 7:45. That was sucky..but it was good to see Olivia...she seemed excited to see me too. I bought her an airbrushed onesie that says Olivia Panama City Beach '04 and has a pink starfish on it. Rachel came over that night and I have her tshirt & necklace to her. SHe LOVED them. Tuesday I went to Marcis after work and gave her Salty Dog shotglass (just for decor not to drink from) & crab windchime thing to her and then we went walking & to West Town. Then I went to Grannys to get laundry and show her pictures, and then I went with mom to pick up Sara from her acting class. Yesteryda all I did was come home & watch Simple Life 2 and Newlyweds and worked on my pages. Today is Thursday! Oh yea also...Monday there was a piece of paper on my car and I thought I was in trouble for something (even though its parked at the apts) so I picked it up and it was a card that Leslie had put on my car on Fathers Day (the day we left). It was SO sweet. It said that she knew it was one of the many difficult days for me and she was thinking of me and loved me and was there for me. That is so sweet. I got a lil misty reading it. It meant so much to me that she did that. Even though it was kinda soggy b/c it had been tehre all week through the rain while I was at the beach lol. But yea we had left on Fathers Day and Im glad b/c it kinda kept my mind off of it. Anyways- I know this journal entry was CRAZY long...sorry! It's a week & a halfs worth of writing...and this is just the short version lol! I cant believe today is already July 1st and this weekend id 4th of July! CRAZY! Oh well.. Write ya later. :)
