hi~ I had a fun weekend. I wrote about Friday night in my last entry. So Saturday I went over to Sara's and used her straightner to straighten my hair. It looked REALLY good. It was like stick straight. Then I left to go set up at Julie's for Amy's wedding shower. I got there at 5 and helped Julie & Kathy set up. Everyone else got there at 6. Everyone that was supposed to come was there except for Jimmy, Sherry, Heather & Sara. There was still a crowd though. It was a very "untraditional" shower b/c we allowed the men there too. =0) We ate good snacks like sausage balls, chips & salsa, cheese bites, crackers, and strawberries, grapes & fruit dip. After that we ate spaghetti. Julie's spaghetti is AWESOME. Then it was game time. Julie & I picked out the games they were so fun. We did the traditional word maker game where everyone had 2 minutes to make as many words as they could out of "Amy and Brandon". Mom won that one. Then then 2nd game we sent the kids out of the room to do their own little craft to make the couple so that we could do an "adult" game. It was hilarious...had everyone CRACKING up! Then the best game. I had bought 24 rolls of toilet paper at Target and we divided everyone up in groups of 4. They had 10 minutes to roll one of their teammates up in toilet paper "designing" the perfect wedding gown. Amy of course was one of the models, so was Bethany, and papaw Bill. Oh it was so funny. Everyone worked together and worked so hard to roll their teammate in TP...making rings, bracelets, veils, trains, and of course the dresses. It was great. Amy's team did an AWESOME job and won first place...it was really "cute" lol. We took tons of pics so I will post them on my webpage as soon as they are developed. Julie & I were the judges. After that we had cake and they opened their gifts. They got some cool things. We couldn't go outside, ride 4wheelers or anything bc it was raining so we all stayed in side and all the girls did kareoke. LOL. It was so great. The guys were in the other room doing who knows what. After everyone left~ me, mom, & Kristen spent the night. We all including Julie, Bethany & Brittanie stayed up til 5 still singing. =) I slept Sunday until 3!!! Me & Kristen gave Britt a "makeover" and we had supper and then I took Kristen home and hung out there for a lil while and got in the hottub for an hour. Then I went to Granny's and visited her & got her laundry and borrowed some books from her for me to read. Then I came home and changed my "ME" page on my webpage around (check it out) and went to bed. I got up today in a cranky mood and went to work at 3. The kids were pretty good. NOw I am home and just got done eating the supper that mom cooked. I could pass out I am so sleepy but I think I'm gonna try to stay awake, clean my room, and go to bed at a decent hour. We shall see. OH yea, Sonya emailed me today saying that she is going to be induced on April 2nd...so little Trenton will be here next weekend~awww. I am so excited!!! :)yayy. Well gonna go for now. bye. <3
