Listening to: some kids playing outside
Feeling: feisty
Hello. Happy sweet November!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT'S NOVEMBER?! I cannot. Ok...today is Monday. Yesterday was Halloween & Sunday and a long day. I got up at 8:30 and got ready for church. Mom went with me! But Billy & Sara were both booheads and wouldnt go. But, wow, mom did! So mom & I set off for New Covenant Fellowship. We had a 2 hour & 15 minute service!!! It was cool though. I REALLY REALLY REALLY liked the church. It's the first one Ive visited so far that may have potential for me. I'm excited. The people there are just TOO sweet. The lady Carolyn that talked to me last Sunday night when I went but didnt get to stay was there and remembered me. And she told me she admired me for going last week by myself. Aw. She is a sweetheart. Well the praise & worship was just like I wanted it..the preaching was...the people and how they praised. I felt very comfortable and welcome there. It was weird though..they have a flag & banner team or something and during praise and worship you see colorful flags being twirled through the air. Mom liked it..she said it was all colorful like a circus. I didnt really "like it" but it didnt bother me either...the only thing about it that would at all maybe be negative is that some of the people in the congregation might get more wrapped up in the show & display of that instead of worship..but it really didnt seem to be a problem. They had a live worship team too, it was just awesome & perfect. So I will probably be going back every Sunday unless friends invite me somewhere. :) And we sang the song "Beautiful One"! That was too exciting...I hit mom real hard and was like "this is my favorite song" all excited like. They gave us this really cool folder thing since we were first time visitors also. It was a maroon folder that said "welcome' and on the inside there were of course lots of brochures about the church and activities and ministries, and there was a little scripture mint, bookmark with a bible verse on it, and a business card. Then after church they had snacks in a big room across from the sanctuaryfor visitors to go to and meet the preacher and have him pray for you. It was cool.
After church I went home for awhile and then picked up Marci at 5 b/c we were gonna goto church somewhere...well we drove to 3 churches and they were all having carnivals. So finally we were lke "well ok lets just stop at the next church carnival we come to" so we went to Wallace Memorials carnival. It was very cute. We rode the hayride, got our faces painted, and ate (what we do best). I fell in love wiht the guy that painted my face. He was such a dollbaby! He gave me butterflies and he was so nice. He was asking my age and I said "youll enver get it right but guess" and he guesesd 23!! I was like "oh my gosh yuo get a cookie!" haha..noone ever guesses close to my age or older. So I was like "I will be 23 in december" and he looked like he was 21 or so but he was only 18!!! SOOO young...but I still would have dated him..he was a cutie. After we left the carnival we went riding around and found another one haha. We are so stupid. But it was gay...their stuff actually cost money lol. By then it was 9:00 and I was tired and so I dropped Marci off went home and to bed!
Today I got off of work early at 2:45 and then went to Grannys to clean her apt. and get her laundry. Now Im chillin' at home talking to Kristi through IM. WOW, havnt gotten to talk to her in awhile. I miss her tons. I had a dream last night about going back to Texas. It made me wake up smiling, it's the first dream I've had about Texas since I have been home which is WEIRD since I basically for the first month I was home thought ONLY about it haha. And now that I finally got over that I start having a dream about it and makes me start missing it and thinking about it constantly again lol. WELL I go in 18 days! wow. Thats soon. Well..gonna go for now...EVERYONE REMEMBER TO VOTE TOMORROW!!!!! =)
