Whats up? well its Monday. I wrote yesterday but I didnt write about my day so let me do that. I got up at 8:30 and got ready for church. I was supposed to meet Heather there at 9:25 b/c the contemporary service starts at 9:30. Well I got there right on the dot but Heather was nowhere to be found. I thought maybe she overslept so I went ahead & went in! I found a seat and after the first 2 songs Heather & Terry walked in. Although I love listening to her preacher speak...he didnt. He just lead us in praise & worship the whole service. Church got out a little early and Heather invited me to eat with them at Hardees since they still had breakfast goin at 10:30. SOoo we went to the Hardees on Tazewell Pike and ate breakfast. It was good! We talked a lil while and then left. I went back to Bobs and got online and talked to Stephanie for quite awhile and then went and took a nap. I woke up and got ready for evening church. I was planning on goign to a nondenominational church on Central Ave Pike called "New Covenant Fellowship". So, I went and got there at like 5:45 even though it started at 6. Well I walked in and the big beautiful sanctuary was empty except for 3 ladies up front. So I just sat there in the back by myself. Finally a young man, an older woman, and a middle aged woman came to tell me that they werent having an evening service that they were having a caregroup meeting but that I was welcome to stay. BUT since the whole caregroup meeting was on how to approach visitors and stuff and I was a first time visitor I said that I would just leave. But oh my goodness they were the most friendly people I ever met in my life. I felt TOTALLY welcome there and I promised I would come back. So, I probably will SUnday morning. I left and was like "Ok Glenoak Baptist is just around the corner I have time to make it there on time" so I drove over there in like 2 minutes but the parking lot was empty..so I was like "umm ok am I meant to go to church tonight?" lol. Then I realized I was very close to Dante Church of God...Daddy & Peggy's church...so I just headed on over there and walked in about 5 minutes late. The service lasted an hour & 45 minutes and it was another prayer & healing service where the holy ghost intervened and we didnt get to hear a sermon. I had walked in church with a heavy heart although I dont really know why...but when I left I left with the load lifted! =) When church was over the pastors wife came & gave me a hug and then this man who I recognized his face but didnt know who he was came to me and said "I am so glad you came" and he gave me a hug and then he said "I know it's hard for you...but your Dad would be very happy that you came" and I smiled and said "yes he would". Then I asked his name and he told me and then said that he was Daddys partner in the bus ministry and that he knew it was hard for me being thereb/c its still hard on him. Aww. It was very sweet and I was touched. Another lady who I have no idea who she is was like "Are you Kerri?" and I was like "yea" and she was like "I'm so glad you came"...and then of course Bro. Snyder hugged my neck and told me to keep coming back. SOO after that I went home got online for a lil minute. I got to talk to Danielle through IM and she is in Houston. She said that she went to that Kemah place and ran through the water thing there and thought of me haha. Anyways after that, I took a bath, and then went to bed!! I had trouble falling asleep though. :( I tossed and turned I know for an hour. Finally around midnight I was asleep. Today I got to work and Travis was already gone but Deana was still home and said she had taken the day off to spend with Livi bc they were gone all weekend and didnt get home til close to Livis bedtime last night and since Livis nana kept her all weekend she hasnt really seen her. So shes off running errands right now and Livi is sleeping...but I will probably get off early again. ;) Well TTYL.
