Ok I am tired and about to take a nap, so I am going to make this as snappy as possible. Yesterday was Saturday. I got up and got ready and then I got a phone call from Jessica McCurry. She asked me to go to church with her and I was excited about it b/c I miss church so much and so I accepted. Then I picked up Sara & Ashlee and we went over to Julie's to enjoy the beautiful sunshiny day out in the "country". It was so awesome. First we jumped on the trampoline and then shortly after Kathy, Kristen, and Becca arrived and we arranged a game of kickball. We sorted the teams out evenly. Kathy & I being oldest were the "team captains" and I had Ashlee, Brittanie, and Bethany on a team and Kathy had Sara, Kristen, and Becca. It was so much fun, we played whoever got to 15 runs first. Kathy's team won and we had 9. It was great fun though. Julie was the "ref" lol since she couldn't play. After that we rode their horse Tony....they dont have saddle and reigns yet so team had to lead him with a rope but we walked through half the field, went around the tree, and then Tim made him run back (mind you I was sitting bare back and only holding on to his mane) lol. It was great! I rode twice. Pretty much everyone rode him and then we got the 4wheeler out and took turns. Ashlee was my partner. We rode each other and then took a break to swing & play "HORSE" and "PIG" at the basketball goal. AFter that everyone else had went inside to chill & wait on the pizza so me & Ashlee rode the 4wheelers in the dark forever. We were singing and acting retarded the whole time, it was great. Then the pizza came and we ate. After that me, Sara & Ash left and I dropped them off. I came home and wathced "Beaches" and cried lol, then got online for a minute and talked to Ash, then went to walmart then went to bed and read until 3 am and then fell asleep. Today is Sunday. I got up at 8:30 and was so tired and still so completely sore from being so active yesterday (sad I know). I got ready for church and then met Jessica at the Walgreens on Campbell Station Rd. I rode with her to her church (Everett Baptist I think is the name). I had been there before like 3 years ago. We got in Sunday school and this cute like 60 year old guy was the college & Career teacher. He was really sweet and so were the other girls in there. After sunday school we went to the sanctuary and at the start of the service they embarrassed me lol. They said "we have a visitor in the college & career class today...Kerri Pressley, where are you"and I had to raise my hand up & wave and everyone was lookin at me grinning. It was funny. And the chruch isn't a small church, not big but not small. Number wise there are more than middlebrook but less than north knoxville. Anyways, the sermon was great. He preached out of II Timothy and talked about Paul and faithfulness in serving God. I'm not gonna lie, it hit some spots...I was convicted and blessed both!!! ;) I got pretty teary eyed too. Oh, and at the end some guy sang "Thank you" By: Ray Boltz (our song Julie!!! hahaha) and that is my song to my Daddy (even before he died it was) and so I teared up during that too. Anywyas, I really enjoyed going and it was a blessing that Jess invited me especially because the way I have been feeling lately and how I needed Christian people to surround me and lift meup. Thank you Jesus for that. =0) I also got an email from an unexpected person today, apologizing for something that has been bothering me for almost a year now. I am glad for that and I hope that soon I can be totally over it. Pray for me on that please guys. Thanks. Well I'm gonna go take a nap!!!! BYE! <3
