Feeling: pensive
I love that verse, it's a good verse. Anyways, today is Sunday! I had been planning on going to church with Heather this mornign but something came up and she wasnt going. So I decided to go somewhere on my own. I have a church in mind I want to try. Then I thought I should try to ask Marci again. So I did and she said yes, that she had a specific church she wanted to try. So we planned on going to Inskip Baptist Church. I got up this morning at 9 and got ready and at 10 I called Marci to tell her I was on my way. She said "Ok Stephanie wants to go to, is that ok?" and I said "YEa sure, of course!!"...I was very excited. So I got there at 10:15 and we left. Marci rode with me and Stephanie followed us. We got to church right on time. It was a pretty big church and was an older building. I wish the praise & worship would have been a little better, but the preacher was funny and preached good. I was also excited b/c we sang the hymn "Shine, Jesus, Shine"...and Crystal sings that on her Greatest Hits CD. =) SO needless to say that was in my head all day. Church started at 10:30 and got out at 12. We left and went to eat at Arby's for lunch. They were packed out. But we had a good time talking & eating there. It was so "weird" because I asked Marci if she wanted to go to church next week and she was like "yea!" and then said there was another one she wanted to try called "North Acres" Baptist...which is SOO strange b/c that is the one that I was wanting to try today before I asked Marci to go. That is just strange b/c there are soooo many churches in Knoxville and this one isnt anywhere near where she lives...but I was like "Thank you Lord". SO that was cool. We invited Stephanie to come back too and she said maybe. So I hope she does!! After eating I dropped off Marci. Kristen had called me after church and asked me to come visit with her so I did. We got in the hottub of course which was great as always. I looove hottubs. Then after soaking it up, we got out and watched "A Walk To Remember". I love that movie so much. I cried & cried of course. After the movie I was like "ok it's 10 til 6...if I hurry I can maybe catch another church". There is one right down the road from Kristen's called "Fairview Baptist" so I pulled in the parking lot b/c it was full so I figured I was right on time b/c there was no time for sunday evening on the sign. I walk all the way across the parking lot, go inside, and noone is in the sanctuary although there were cars everywhere. SO I asked some dude sittin out in the lobby what time church started and he said "7"...and it was barely 6 then. So I was like 'ok im leavin'. I didnt want to stand around by myself inthe lobby for an hour at a strange church. So on the way home, every church I drove past I tried to see if any started at 6:30...but all of them were 6 or 7 and by this time it was too late to go to a 6 oclock one. Grr. SO now I am sittin at home. Im gonna call Debra when she gets off work tonight. And that's about it. Well- talk to you later bye!
