Im feeling so overwhelmed with sadness and shock right now. I just heard the news last night about Pastor Dana Matthewson getting killed in a car accident. My friend Heather went to his church that is near my house. Although I did not know him all that well, I visited that church several times with Heather and always felt such love from Bro. Dana. He was such a true man of God. Just the few times I met him I could see his outstanding love for PEOPLE, LIFE, and God! He was the reason I enjoyed Heathers church so much. When my Dad passed away almost 2 yeras ago I got the sweetest voicemail on my phone from Bro. Dana that I will never forget and always told people about. Then the next time I saw him at church I thanked him for it and he was so kind to me. I will never forget his love. I dont understand why things like this have to happen!! He was such a good man...a loving man..a Godfearing man..a man who made differences in other peoples lives for the better..He was ONLY 47. My mom's age. Their church had been rebuilding and had cleared out property for a bigger & better church...and he wont get to be a part of that finished project and that breaks my herat. But moreso...my heart is broken for his wife...and especially his kids..I know what it feels like to lose a father young..though not as tragically. I pray peace on their heart & soul from God in knowing that BRo. Dana is with His creator now...the one person he loved hte most..Jesus. On antoher sad note..my Granny is not doing well...not breathing good and she is in teh hospital right now..I am sooo scared for her. I love her so much. Please be in prayers for her...I know her time to go is soon..but I pray its peacefuly and without struggle.
Anyways...enough sad stuff. This past week has gone by so slow. Paula & her daughter Allison came over Wednesday night and chicken patties and corndogs with me, Stef, and Em. Then last night was Thursday and me, STef, Em, Marci, Paula, Allison, and Pam all went to hear Eternal Vision sing for a benefit for Katrina Victims. The "Supernals" were also there along with "The Living Water Trio" who hade awesome vocals, and I forget the other groups name. ANyways it was a fun time. Tonight Stef's nephew James is spending the ngiht and we are going to my aunt Julies to film one of my brothers classic homemade "horror" movies..haha cool. Well gonna go for now
