What's up? Today is Sunday. Friday Deana ended up coming home early at like 2:30 so I left an hour early. I went home and napped until Jimmy & Marci both called and woke me up. I got ready and went to JC Penney's at 5 to meet Emily b/c she was getting off of work. I bought the rest of Bethanys birthday present and Paulas babyshower present. Emily bought me come cute flipflops that were on clearance at Old Navy...that was SOOO sweet of her!!! WE talked to Terri & Greta from there and then I had to SCAT. I got to Julie's right on time for Bethanys birthday party but I was on the phone with Mary so I sat in the driveway talking to her for a few minutes...she pretty much aggravates me. She left yesterday for North Carolina with her "new fiance/boyfriend" whatever the crap he is...to live there with him & his family. OH WELL. After Bethanys party I went to Jimmy & Sherrys to visit. I talked to Darrell on the phone Friday night again too. Saturday was a busy day. I woke up at 9:30 and Sara went and got breakfast for everyone around 10. It was my moms birthday so I gave her presents to her. I got her a "Maple" candle from bath & body works and a castle calendar b/c she LOVES castles and a card. Mom & I met Elaine at 1 to look at houses. We looked at 3. After that I went home & got ready and picked up Marci at 7:30 for Boomsday. We parked for free at the fire dept as usual. I fell in love with the cutest, sweetest fireman. He's probably married or something but he was so sweet & cute...and everyone knows im sweet on firemen anyways!! LOVE THEM! So anyways we walked down to the waterside and in the midst of the HUMONGO crowd we found Kathy, Robby, Kristen, & Becca! So we parked our chairs there. The fireworks were just awesome this year!!! I love them. After the show we headed back up to the fire dept and took pictures in front of their fire hydrant fountain and then left. Well, on the way out stuck in CRAZY traffic 2 HOT (i mean HOT) dudes ina black SUV pulled up next to us and was all talking to us. THey were from North Carolina and came to visit the worlds fair site. He asked us to go to Cotton Eyed Joes with them and I was like "Im not much of a partier and we are going to eat" and he was like "well we willgo & eat with you~ we will follow you"..i mean he said it like 4 times...so finally I was like "umm nah" and pulled off real quick haha...I know i'm never gonna find a "husband" that way...but I'm not a party girl and I definitely DONT want to date a party boy! But they were definitely some hotties! I would much rather have the FIREMAN though hahahha. Anyways- after getting out of traffic we went to Arbys and ate supper. Then we went to the midnight movies in Halls. We watched "Without a Paddle"...it was hilarious- I laughed through the whole thing. It was corny as can be....but I liked it. It was all about "nature" and cute & funny guys...so it was great! I dropped Marci off at about 2 and went home and crashed! Today Sara & I went to Mr. Gattis for lunch and drove aroudn looking for houses. I just now took a shower and got off the phone with my Aunt Libby (my Dad's sister). It's the first time Ive ever talked to her on the phone. She's so sweet!! I've always loved her to death. I am talking to Heather right now online and am fixing to go to Rachels to get measured for my bridesmaid dress by her aunt who is making them. :o) Tomorrow is Labor Day and Im off praise God! But it's STUDY day for me b/c I have a quiz on Tuesday! Well, talk to you later!
