Last night was very interesting. First of all after work I went to Marci's AGAIN to plan to walk but as soon as I pulled in there it started pouring again. So I went in & chatted with her & her granny for about 30 minutes. I left and then went to the tanning bed. I was there an hour early but they let me go ahead & tan. After tanning, I went to Granny's to drop off her laundry. I went home for a lil while and then at 7:30 I left to go to the mall and visit Sara at work and maybe buy some sandals from her for the beach. Well, the only thing I ended up getting there was a shell mood ring. But it's cute! I did however go to Old Navy and buy the flipflops I have been wanting forever. They are black and the straps are like rainbowlooking (red orange yellow green & turquoise stripes). They had originally been like $8, maybe 10...but I got them for $4.99. I like the green ones too but I figured the black & colorful would go with more, plus it was their last pair! I also got a mesh beachbag there for $5. Oh and my excitement lol. WHen I got to the mall I went straight to Rackroom to see Sara. I wasn't even in there 5 minutes and this black lady walks out and the thing starts beeping and she keeps going and hten starts running. Before Sara & the other 2 employees could say anything or get after her I took off running after her lol. Crime buster Ker. She was already out the door by Ruby Tuesdays though so I told the mall information that the woman with the white shirt and big hair that was just running had shoplifted from RackRoom and she was like "Im sorry, mall security cant' stop them if someone in the store hasn't already"...I was like that's some bull. There goeslike $80 b/c of some dumb rule. Well, by that time the store manager had ran out there too and saw her just in time to hop in her "get away" car and got the tag #. Dunno if anything can be done or not, but I sure hope so...that's one thing that ticks me off is people stealing. I caught like 3 people at Old Navy...quite a few at JC Penneys and tons at Charmed By Gold. Well I ended up staying at the mall til closing chillin with Sara lol. At like 10 til 9 these other 3 black chics were walking out teh door and it started beeping...they actually turned back around and came inside and Sara checked the bags lol. IT was so cute seeing my sister be Miss Security. She found 2 shoes in seperate bags and she goes "What is this??" and got htem out of the bag and turned around and started to give them to her manager. Well, the girls started walking out of the store and Sara goes "Dont Leave!" real bossy like....oh it was great. When I told mom about it I said "I guess we both have a little bit of cop blood in us" haha, you know since mom was a state trooper for 11 years. It was an exciting night at the oh so ghetto fab mall. I like east town...but it's getting nastier each year. They used to have like 2 of those ghetto stores owned by foreign people like "Trends" and whoever else...I'm not kidding now they have about 7!!! I'm like WHAT IN THE WORLD. That is so gay. I mean let's just change the name to "United Ghetto Foreigner's Mall". However I was excited to go into the new Christian bookstore they have there (which is owned by foreigners). It is small, but I dont care, I am just glad it's there. There is the cutest shirt in there that is green and in yellow it has a picture of Jesus with a cross on his back and then says "John three Sixteen"...you know, like JOhn Deere~ lol. And it even has a matching trucker hat! hahaha. Anyways- Sara asked me to stay after close with her and leave with her...so I did and I ended up helping clean the store for like 10 minutes...just to be nice lol. We were walking outside the mall when 2 goodlooking boys walked out in front of us and I was like "I know them!" and I told Sara "That is Josh & Aaron!!" and she was like "nuh uh!!" so we chased them down and talked to them for a minute. Aaron is soo freakin tall! He is 21 now! CRAZY. Josh is 23 and is ADORABLE. He looked like some fashion person from New York~ he looked very modelish! Them & their parents Tommy & Cathy Gilliland are family friends of ours and we used to go their AWESOME beautiful house in Rutledge for New Years Eve, 4th of July, and October to do hayrides, horserides, and all kinds of cool stuff. They used to come over to our house to play rook & swim. Then we all just kinda drifted apart. ANyways, they left but said that their mom & dad were inside Ruby Tuesdays. So, we went in and talked to them! They were so friendly...it was great to see them. I showed them SHawn's pictures and caught up with them for awhile. Cathy was dying for us to come & visit them sometime. We talked to them for a good 15-20 minutes. Well, THEN as I was turning around to leave I glanced over and saw Jonathan Collins sitting at a table. I havn't seen that guy in quite awhile! Well I smiled at him & said HI and he said HI and I asked how he was doign and he said good and I said "that's good" and then I just left. But he's always been a nice guy. I started to stop & talk to him, but I dont want to get him in trouble...some things are better just left. So, me & Sara left and went to Wendy's to eat. Then I took Sara home and watched a little bit of "Punk'd" and the last 45 minutes of "THe Shawshank Redemptiom" (a GREAT MOVIE), then I hightailed it to bed b/c it was midnight again. Today is FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!! YAY. And not only that, but I leave in 2 days for the beach! waaaaaaahooooooo! I am very excited. Oh also...I found out that the Crystal Lewis concert in Houston at Lakewood that I want to attend is free!!!! B/c its not a full-fledged concert. It is a Beth Moore Conference and Crystal is going to be there for sing a few songs. Yay, I've always wanted to hear Beth Moore speak and Crystal...well we all know I love her! And it's all free! So now I am saving for my plane ticket. I talked to Kristi through email yesterday and she told me to come & stay as long as I want so I will probably go September 10th-17th. ;) Too much excitement that I cant even bear it. lol. Well, Livi is sleeping and I am going to go fix some lunch...tata for now. <3
