Howdy. Monday is here again. The weekend flew by once again! But it was fun. Friday after work I picked up Marci and we went to my apartment. We went swimming in the pool and hten went to Food Lion to get stuff to make one of Emilys pizza rolls...(didnt turn out like Em's LOL) but it was still okay. After that we took the Orange truck to get her some gas and then went to walmart to get some things we needed (car chalk & cowboy air freshner lol). We watched "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" and in the middle of it I had to turn the volume down b/c I heard a noise. Turns out that "noise" was my mom screaming for help b/c she had fallen off the top bunk of the futon! lol. AWww. She couldnt move and she was crying. She ended up being ok, just sprained her wrist and scraped her elbow. I felt so bad!!! After the movie we went straight to bed. Saturday morning Marci & I got up at 7 and got ready to leave. We wrote "Nashville or Bust" in white chalk on the back of Big Orange's window. haha. We stopped for breakfast before we left and then hit the road! We had a pretty fast trip. We only stopped once (in cookeville) before we got to Franklin. We found FFH's (The Deiblers)house...Franklin is a cute lil city!! I would like to live there. I had Marci take a pic of their house out the truck window and then we ate lunch and headed back North to Nashville. We got to our hotel which we "thought" was downtown (so the ad online said) but itwas more "near" downtown lol. It was onm Harding Place. We checked in and then went swimming in the pool which was fun. We acted like 10 year olds ~lol. After swimming we went inside and got cleaned up and watched some of CMTS "Crossroads" with Dolly Parton & Melissa Ethridge lol. IT was interesting! Then we got ready to go out on the town!! We first found the Titans stadium so I could take pictures for Granny since she is their #1 fan...like big time fanatic. Then, We went downtown and hung around the strip (well Broadway & 2nd) for a bout 3 hours. We walked up & down and shopped and ate at the HardRock Cafe. I bought me a Barney Fife tee (it's SO cute) and a lil change purse type thing. Then we drove around downtown and Main Street for a lil while and then went back to the hotel. Marci stayed up watchin some VH1 thing on KISS, and I was like "nuh uh dude" so I rolled over & went to sleep. Sunday the alarm got us at 10:30 and we got ready to leave the hotel. We left and went to Fazolis to eat lunch. After that, we went to "The Grand Ole Opry" and took a picture and went to the gift shop. Then we walked around the "Opry Mills Mall" or whatever. It was WAY cool. I bought some more stuff and then we went to the wax museum to take pics of the stars hand & footprints & signatures in squares of cement! :) Then we hit the road back to Knoxville. It only took 2 hours to get back home. lol. Big Orange even got us through the rain! I dropped Marci off around 8 last night and then went home to give Sara & mom their stuff. Emily called me & I talked to her for about 45 minutes on the phone while I baked choc. chip cookies. Then I went to bed shortly after! Now Im at work and Livi is taking her 2nd nap. I get off work in about 45 minutes. YAY. =) I am so tired...I think I might go home & SLEEP. lol. Debra said she might come in this Tuesday or Wednesday but she sent me a message today saying that she wouldnt be able to. =( Go figure...most things I get excited about never happen. I dont think I will ever get to go stay with her a weekend in Georgia. I wish she'd hurry & get unbusy and have a weekend off lol! I am off next Friday and that would be perfect. OH well.
