Yanno...too many bad things are happening lately...and it sucks so bad. I know that it is written that things here on earth have to get worse before they get better...but still. :( Sadness. I would just like to take a minute to ask everyone to remember the family of that 51 year old woman from Nashville who fell to her death from that "Hawk" ride in Pigeon Forge yesterday. That is so terribly sad. To think that she was probably on vacation here w/her family who sat there and watched her fall to her death. How traumatizing that must be. It totally breaks my heart. I remember last summer when Jillian was in that pageant in Pigeon Forge me & Jen went to that SAME amusement place and I wanted to ride the "Hawk" but she wanted to ride Go-Karts...so me being like I am was like "let's do what you want to do" and so we did the go-karts. Or course nothing happened that night, but still, praise God we didn't get on that thing, b/c you never know. I mean I LOOOVE rides that go upside down, but that is soo scary. Also please take a moment to remember the Loudon Co. Deputy shot whose funeral thingy was today. What a horrible weekened this has been...on top of me being sick...all of the deaths & even the shootings around this area that were not fatal. Well I called Gigi yesterday and told her I couldn't work the shift in Angie's room and she wanted to know if I could atleast work my 3 hr shift and I said I would try. I know that is not a long time, but it is when you feel like crud and also when you are around the same lil ones that more than likely gave you the germs & make you run around & chase them lol. I guess I will survive. Well...I hope everyone reading this has a great Monday...and be prayerful of all those in need. <3
