Well I havnt written in like 4 days and today is Monday. So, let me tell you about my weekend...it was fun, fast, and crazy. Friday night I got a lil dressed up and went out to eat with Stephanie and Marci at 'Barleys'. We had pizza and it was yummy...thats only the 2nd time I had went there. Marci had ordered jalopenos on it and OMG it was the spiciest pizza I ever ate in my life...but REALLY REALLY good. After we left Barleys it was like 10:00 and we were bored and didnt know what else to do since theres not much to do in Knoxville and we didnt have much money we could spend. So I was like "I have an idea!"...so we went with it hahaha. It was HILARIOUS! Stephanie had a yellow bandana tied around her gear thingy in her car and so we tied it around her head like a blindfold and then she laid down in the back of her backseat and I got in the drivers seat and Marci got upfront with me. The idea was to drive Steph somewhere and then see if she could find her way back out. HAHAHA. I drove around in circles in the Food City parking lot to confuse her and then we were off! I drove for about 25 minutes. I drove us from Powell to Seymour/Sevier County! I turned off Chapman Hwy off some back country roads and got to where I didnt even know where we were. Finally we unfolded Steph and let her back up front. She had no clue where she was...and she started driving in the wrong directiong BUT she got lucky and found a familiar main road after 15 minutes and knew where she was. SO then we found stupid road sign names that we each got out and took pictures of us with. Mine said "Old Red Lane" or something. Anyways we drove up some road that was an entrance to a subdivision and were messing around trying to make a decision and I was flashing the flashlight out the window trying to read a sign and then a car comes around the corner and it turns out to be a cop! Steph starts driving off and he follows and then turns his lights on. Marci & I were crackin up while Steph was freakin out...but we werent doing anyhting so I knew she wouldnt get a ticket. He asked us what we were doing so we just told him we were lost and he let us go. It was GREAT. So then I was like "man we should have filmed a video to tape all this action" haha..and Steph was like "I know! Because you know this will never happen again..what are the chances"...BUT LITTLE DID WE KNOW....hahaha. I'll get to that in a minute. So after that it was almost midnight and she took us home. Saturday morning I got up and got ready and Steph was a little late but she picked up Marci & me around 1. We headed off to Ober Gatlinburg to do mine & Steph's traditional iceskating we do every year except last year b/c I hated her this time last year haha. It took us awhile to drive through the Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg traffic and then finally we got to the top of the mountain. I love Ober. We first thing went iceskating. Marci just sat on the bench and video taped us though. So me & Steph went at it for about 30 minutes and then after that we walked around looking at the stores and went outside to see the ski slope and watch the people slide down on the ice run thingy. Then we went back inside and I bought me some of their YUMMY fudge (another tradition) and we left. After that we went to eat at the Mr. Gattis in Sevierville. They have live Christian music there every Tuesday & Saturday so they had a man and woman singing mostly Contemporary songs and praise & worship songs. Me & Marci got all into singing them and so then we went up there and requested them to sing a hymn. Her & I both love "Because He Lives"...it's my favorite hymn. So they sang it for us and then we followed Steph around the gameroom while she played games and then we left. After that we put in the "Coyote Ugly" soundtrack and put it on the "Right Kind of Wrong" song and Stephanie was all dancing and Marci had the video camera and was filming me dancing and singing it....so Stephanie got hyped up and started accelerating lol. A few minutes later here comes some more flashing blue lights!!! Stephanie was like "you've GOT to be kidding me". So I got the video camera and nonchalantly sat it in my lap and pushed record. So we recorded it this time....AND this time she got a ticket because she was speeding big time...and she deserved it as bad as I felt about it. After the excitment of getting pulled over AGAIN by the Sevier Co. Police (2 nights in a row is pretty bad haha) we all went back to Stephs house and gave Steph a makeover. Marci did her makeup and I did her hair and we made her put on cute clothes and awww she looked sooo pretty!! It was a major change seeing shiny stick straight hair with little crimp waves in it and then glossy pink lips and glitter on the eyes. Then we replayed the video of today and were cracking up and crying we were laughing SOOO hard. Oh it was hilarious. Some "Good Times"..haha. Then Stephanie dropped us off at midnight and I went to bed. Sunday morning Stephanie and Marci picked me up again and we went to the church that my brother Todd & his wife Stephanie have been visiting. We sat on the row with them & Emilee and Stephanie P.'s parents. After church Stephanie W. dropped me off and I changed clothes and met Todd, Steph, and Emilee at the Bi-Lo in Halls and followed them to Stephanie's parents house. We ate a YUMMY dinner of potatoes, mac&cheese, peas, roast beef, salad, and sweet tea. Then we had chocolate cake for dessert. It was alll sooo good. After eating I went in the den and sat on a couch with Stephanie and talked to her for a couple of hours. By then it was like 4:00 so I went home and took a short nap and then changed again b/c they asked me to go to the evening service with them. So I met them back at the church at 5:45. Stephanie & I both wanted to go badly to the Winter Jam concert next weekend with Toby Mac, Tait, Matthew West, Newsong, Rachael Lampa, and Building 429! So she asked me to go with her and I said yes and then Todd said he wanted to go too and so we all planned on going and THEN we found out that church is all meeting and going together so we are going to go together with them! YAY. I cant wait. Stephanie asked me to spend the night w/them next Saturday then go to church with them Sunday morning and go back & hang out at their house until time to go to the concert...so I cant wait. That'll be fun!! =) Well after church I went home and Sara & I cooked brownies and took them to the hospital and were giving them out to some sick patients on the cancer floor and then took some to Lester, Mom, Mary, and Brandy. Lester was in such good spirits. He has had a spritual awakening since he has been sick, had a stroke, and diagnosed with cancer and he is all about forgetting about himself and helping other people. He has been witnessing to everyone he meets in the hospital...and has made friends who arent Christians that are all wanting to talk more with him now. Its SOOO AWESOME! He talked to me for about 30 minutes and I started crying..it was touching. Anyways...then we went home and I went to bed and now here I sit!! I know I wrote ALOT but it was a big weekend. Gonna go now....bye!
