Well that was interesting, in the span of abot a half an hour a bunch of stuff took place. Let me start with the bar and bouncer, then get to the hit-and-run...... At about 7 I heard a bunch of yelling coming from the bar out behind/beside my house (yes that's right, but there's another house and two fences between, still...) it was the bounce for the bar, and he was fighting with some dude up the ally. Well about 3 cops came to see what was up, and that's when we heard tires screach from the crosswalk on the corner, and some cop turned around and yelled out to someone asking if they were okay. He ran over to the crosswalk, ran back, got in his car and took off. Evidently someone did a hit-and-run right in front of about 4 cops, I swear these people keep getting dumber and dumber. They called fire department, then didn't need the fire department. So that was my eventful evening, though not really eventful. I don't get why it is that it takes the fire department 5 minutes to get to a call from the police that they weren't even needed for, and 50 minutes to get to calls put forth by an entire block saying that there is a burning, fucking burning trailer on the corner, with a gas tank attached to it and beginning to set the store on the corner on fire. What the hell? I don't get it, what happened to the emergency system in this town. I mean people in Sprague River get faster responses to calls then we do, the scary part of that being they don't have fire, poice, or medical services out there.
