All I see is myself Drained, worn "Look inside yourself," they tell me. But I don't see it. Searching for myself I see nothing. And im STILL losing that battle between me and my heart. "Look deeper," they say. But the deeper I look, the more I lose. And then suddenly you come in. Now when I search, I find you. This is what I am looking for. The color is coming back now, they joy is coming back too. Just don't take it away. As the words come out of my mouth, you begin to walk away. Heart pounding, I know this is my fault, I did this. If only time could go back, and I look up again to see your face. You are standing right in front of me just beyond my reach. OK so that was my slam...well i didnt really slam it as much as just read it. But that up there was done from memory from this morning! GO ME! I know its pretty crappy, so whatever. anyway today was actually not all that bad of a day. i was so scared to do the slam but i just did it and im done with it and im happy. not even reading it, but just writing it got so much out of my system. Its not even about a specific person (much) which makes it even more weird. Other very notable slams were Kathryn, Katie, Marissa. i liked most all of them though those stuck out extra. Everyone wanted Arvin to go again but he wouldnt...not even after he told kathryn and i that we would hear it...it seems like hed have a good one, because when we asked him what it was about, he said "experience" so yeah. O well, and i also liked nova's a lot. Lindsey Reiser met me today after my 10 mins of work and it was fun and we had a good chat. Speaking of chats...o nevermind. And since im listening to my playlist of cute songs that make me cry (almost) on music india online, of course im in a weird mood. And like the best one ever came on!! YES!
