  God, and you're So Beautiful
Five friends sat on the grass in the shade of their weeping willow, having a deep discussion about Friend #3, she was leaving them for bigger things.
She promised to think of her four friends and she smiled at them and waved goodbye with tears in her clenched teeth as she got up and opened the trunk of her car.
Friend #1 got up and kissed her goodbye and helped her put luggage in the trunk, he handed her a bag of candied almonds, for the ride he said. Then he walked back under the willow and made a grass angel and kicked its head.
Friend #2 hated her right then, for leaving them, as though it was her first choice, as though she thought none of her friends were good enough for her. But she tightly smiled back at Friend #3's glistening eyes and then looked away.
Friend #4 and Friend #5 were too busy arguing to each other to even really notice she was leaving, and Friend #4 had already had his goodbye. Too long ago. Friend #5 never even truly liked her. To him she was just a pretty face and a toned body, he never bothered to look at her mind.
All Friend #3 saw was her four best friends who she loved so dearly and would love for the rest of time, to her they were perfect. She never really saw them but it was okay, polaroid memories distort over time and they'll always be perfect to her.
