Well today was a pretty good day....Alright I suppose. Went and science faired today, and came to a shocker. Since I was the only person in the Behavioral Science area, they moved me to Life Science, which contained the top three smartest kids in my grade. Joy, joy. Although I must admit I'm no idiot...most of the time, My project on body lanuage, although more interesting probably didnt fair well next to, "How Nitrogen Effects Plants and Rooting Systems in the Chespeake Bay." Not only was her board jam-packed with information and graphs, but one of the judges actually hugged her. My suspicions, as to where I was going to place were not encouraged by Mr. Radcliffes fine words, "Kayla, I just want to let you know you have a wonderful project, but with the group you were placed in things dont look great. Hang in!" Psh Well I think I won the hearts of two sets out of the three of judges. I looked them straight in the eye, and only looked at my board when showing the graphs and such. That pelased me. Until judge four rolled down her gold carpet...its not that I did anything wrong, but she toldme straigh to my face that this kind of science was interesitng, but not relevant. I cant say I favored that judge much after that.. The awards for my category are, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and "an honorable mention." I have a feeling I know where I'm rolling.
