Today was GREAT.
It was opening day for softball, so like normal we all walk in the parade to the fields and then listen to ceremony and such. Parents stand along the sides, but almost all of the parents wait at the end and wave from there. This year however my crazy ucnle was in attendance on the sideline, and I have to say I have suffered the most embarrasing moment of my entire life, which now that I think about it is somewhat of a relief.
Anyway....as my team was amrching down the street CRAZY UNCLE runs into the MIDDLE of the parade shouting, "GO KAYLA. SHE'S OUR MAN!!!!!!" Then porceeds to pick me up and place me on his shoudlers in front of what....400 people?, and then carry me to the end of the parade. Needless to say, just about every parent there [photographed me, including the newspaper guy, and I was the highlight of my teams taunting for the rest of the day, and most likely season. By the end though, when I was already embarrased so much it couldnt possibly get any worse, I started waving like a queen (where they cant show the back of their hand) and soaking up the spotlight.....twas great my friends, twas great.
Throughtout the reat of the day he came up yelling, "Need a lift Kayla?" Which was also followed by mockery, but hey.....paybacks a bitch right;) Worse part was my mown mother payed him 20 dollars to do this, so I have to get them both in this scheme...
MUhahahaha....cackle.
Softball game later, and we were slaughtered.....16-6.....but I dotn want to even go into detail about that.....there'll be much more angrier entries for that....
Well Im off to find my lover.
Until tomorrow then,
Your Neighborhood Superman
