Finally, it all makes sense

Feeling: headachy
Last night was one kick-arse evening. I went to prom lockin becuase I'm in SADD and we hosted the whole thing, and it was crazy. For me, the one not being at any meetings, I can honestly say I think I did most of the physical work. A lot of the girls ran off and did their own thing, but I stayed at lazer tag the whole time counting points. In the last three rounds when there were only like 8 people left I went in and played too, but apart from that I worked the whole time. After lazertag ended and the kids had to go to the silent auction I stayed behind with Andrew to help clean up the entire lazer tag set-up, which was really a lot of just physical labor. Nothing horrible or straining, but just putting things back where they belong. This kid Jeremy came and helped us halfway through, but in all honesty I think I had more fun cleaning up then anything else that day. Overall though, the whole thing was great. Kids stayed off of drugs and alcohol, and still had a great time. They had over 60 prizes (I won face powder), and 60 people showed up, so it worked out fairly well. The games awere also pretty intense, you had: Sumo blow-up wrestling, a moon bounce, a blow-up twister, lazer tag, nascar/tricycle race, blackjack, texas holdem, and a silent auction where you could bid the points you won at the different game statsion on things like t.v.'s and refrigerators. They also played Napolean Dynamite, National Treasure, and Finding Neverland all throughout the evening. I had a ball my friends, a ball. Well now I'm all talked out and nursing a headache. Until tomorrow then, Your Neighborhood Superman

what the hell is prom lockin?
Unsong Heroes of Night eh?

I hear ya. I even know what it's like, believe me. But you hit something that may not have dawned upon your readers and it was the satisfaction you recieved from just knowing things were good. Knowing that you provided an alternative to certain substances for at least one night. It's that feeling that'll keep you going and although some may say that you're a whinner, I say kudos-kudos to you my dear.

Cheerio!
