2morrow is Anzac day. a day that us aussies take a day off and kick back to remember the "diggers" that fought on the beaches of Gallipoli many years ago...i think it was 1915(?). the poor buggas got slaughtered by the turks. but us aussies...we don't give up that easy and we faught on and proved that no one should fuck with us. yesterday dad's aunty, so i think that makes her my great aunty, came around. i have never met her before. i was working down the shed with dad, cutting wood to make it the right size for the table i am making. anyways we are getting stuck into it and then dad is like- "she is here, enough for now, come and meet her" so i walk out to meet her. i have dust and wood chips all through my hair and i am wearing a beach bum style long sleeve shirt with a pair of my oldest shorts. i haven't had a shower yet and the shed was fucking hot, so i smell and have dust all over me. i have long hair and it had all knots in it and shit. anyways she took one look at me and i could tell in her glace that she was thinking "in my day...kids had short hair and had showers...." i thought it was funny...lol thats about all thats gone on. i can't really say that this has been an exciting weekend, but there is still more of it to come remember the diggers XOXOXOX
