5:42 Monday Evening   Spending the Night with a Wish Let me tell you about my weekend, excluding Friday. Saturday morning I went to Kaikoura. Dad and I had sort of a falling out, but I just didn't talk to him for a while and he forgot. I wrote in a notebook my feelings and what I was seeing and blah blah, The drive was about 2 hours long. We saw dolphins. I was so excited. There were at least a hundred far out in the sea, we stopped the car to see them. They were jumping and doing flips! yay! When we were there, we went to eat some lunch and then went to our hotel. Once we chucked our stuff in the rooms we were staying in, most of us went to the beach to look for pretty things (i.e. sea glass, polished fragments of seashell and paua, etc.). We had tea of pizza. Meh, nothing special. Then Michael and I picked up stuff some more on our own. Michael is a pretty cool kid. It's pretty cool talking politics with him because he's got pretty similar opinions as me, and he is vegetarian as well. He's vegetarian for a different reason, but still. It's nice to have an ally in the no-meat business. then we just chilled out in the hotel because it was dark out. The next morning we were goign to go kayaking but it was too foggy. oh well. We went and looked at tide pools, then had lunch. After lunch we went shopping for a few minutes, and then headed home. Once home, we went to Chelsea's friend's house, chatted for a while, I went home and called Caleb and he came over and we hung out in my room and played our favourite game and read girl magazines and stuff. It was fun. I don't know. It's not fair how much i love spending time with him. Grr. Mmmmm today was the first day of school. Thus the mood. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be! I have two classes with Caleb (and unfortunately those same classes I have with Hyun Woo); English and Chem. woohoo! Also Simon and Marco are in my Maths w/Calculus class and so that won't be boring. hurray! :D Tech and Art, although I don't know anyone in them, look like they'll be fun. I haven't had photo yet but i am positive it will be fine, Nik and Geniesa are in my class (I think). The only problem is that every time I saw Hyun Woo it became more and more obviously apparent he has a huge crush on me. I was talking to Caleb online and even he noticed. He said everytime he saw me, Hyun Woo was never more than a metre or two behind me; and that Hyun Woo was being a better boyfriend than himself. Sigh. Tonight is daisychain night, one of my favourite nights of the week! And means that I won't hang out with caleb again until friday at the earliest, probably!
