Feeling: breathless
7:30 Thursday Night   The Evening Disappears in the Winter Although winter is my favourite season it is always sad coming out of summer, and watching the days grow shorter and shorter. Watching as the evening slowly grows less and less until it's just afternoon before it's night. "Beating Hearts Baby" by Head Automatica just came on. I miss talking to Dan. Yesterday was cool. I woke up, did all the usual morning stuff, went to school. Teacher didn't show up for chemistry so we had a free first period. Too bad we didn't figure it out until halfway through the hour; sitting there, twiddling our thumbs, wondering when he'd show. I was ready to leave after 10 minutes, but that may be because I'm biased against chemistry. Caleb made cookies in free period, and study, so we had chocolate chip cookies for interval. It was nice--I've taken to not bringing food to school, so it was cool to have something to tide me over until i got home. We even had assembly, so I missed out on half of art, which means only 30 minutes of tediously carving out wood. Although I am almost done and it should only take me another 15 minutes, tops. Lunch consisted of sitting in the sun, watching bad student cricket. The sun was nice, though. I got all excited in maths because we did trigonometric proofs and they were fun and I am a freak. In English, the most memorable thing that happened was i hit my elbow very hard on the radiator and now i have a bruise. waaah. I made Caleb come over to my house after school and he wrote me bad poetry and we "danced" and "fought" and talked and just chilled out until we went to Robin's good-bye party. So that was okay, there were lollies there, little marshmallow eskimoes that, to me, looked like the Virgin Mary. I said so to Caleb. His reaction was something like, "I just ate the Holy Mother! And she was green... she tasted good." It was so funny. Today, I bussed to school. I got there for prayer meeting. It was great. English was essay-ing and receiving our american lit. novel, One Flew Over the Cuckoo Nest. Photo was more printing. Interval was reading our English novel. Technology was filling out a sheet about files. Greg and Michael and I finished early, and lobbied to our teacher about having a free first period tomorrow (because he was giving us a relief), and he gave in! But we have to stay for last period next thursday, which is completely fine with me because I hate Directions. I read for the rest of that period, then i visited caleb at gate duty for half the lunch period, and "played" hackey for the other half. Hehe, it was cute the way the boys thought they could teach me how to hack the hackey. :P I did pass it twice though! yay me! Chemistry was unfortunate in that mr. moir did show up. Sigh. Oh well, orbitals are not too scary. Instead of going to Directions today, I had to do some pointless interview about teaching. I was excited because it would get us out of directions, but it turns out directions was about 10 minutes long. Our interview was 45 minutes. Erk.. I went to Caleb's after school and he and I danced around in a sunlit lounge to happy, bright music. Then the sunlit lounge turned grey and the happy, bright music went serious. We spent the rest of our afternoon pillow-fighting and just lying on the ground, talking. We did play computer games for a while before I went home, but mostly it was talking. Sometimes I wonder if he's even real because seriously? he's too good to be true. We can always be so completely honest with each other, even if what we have to say might sting a little... i want more than 5 more weeks.

dancing around a sunlit room sounds like fun. Maybe I'll go and do it by myself. lol. Love you!
Yes, it is shallow, I never thought about it like that. But quite clever at the time. Now it's been done and overdone.

I quite like some of it on face value, just the bright colours and crisp lines and so on - but it doesn't really hold any long-term interest.

hmm...school sounds pretty boring for you now. That sucks. It is here too, but at least we're on spring break now
yes, he's fired! ahhh!!
we have a sub for the rest of the school year...
Well, I am not going to have financial difficulties. I know how to handle money; if it gets to the point where I don't have enough money to pay rent, I'm not going to go buy a new CD. That would be stupid. But it's a hypothetical situation because there is almost a 0% chance of that happening.

I'm glad you understood what I meant with the little-sister voice. I thought people might think I'm mean and terrible. then i didnt care, so i kept it.
you're doing wood carving in art? the art 1 class at my school is doing stone. i hate it because they are in the same room as us and they leave their powdery shavings everywhere and it gets on me.

i'm painting a chair at the moment, and putting a picture of apollo and daphne in oil pastel on the front, except the paint keeps peeling up whenever i try to draw there, so i got frustrated and gessoed the entire seat.
I wanna be out of school! No fair. lol
Dancing to happy music...yummmm.

I heard Tom's Diner last night. It made me think of you and some cafe in a rainy place. It made me smile.
I miss me too, petal :3

It's true, spring break has been pretty fun. Even though it's snowing right now! Dahh! It would be nice to not have to go back to school though....enjoy it, but also enjoy it for me...because I'm still in school (bleh!) *smiles*
