11:15 Late Friday Morning (21 November 2008)   Level A Protective Wear HAZWOPER did not prepare me for war against that virus. I should have known better than to go to class today. If being briefly shown a photograph of someone afflicted by the plague can turn me into a shuddering globule of horror, I should have thought more about what a movie dedicated to the ebola virus could do to my fragile, weak psyche. I figured it was a better idea to leave the class and disrupt the people around me for 3 seconds than to vomit on them and disrupt them for the rest of the day. I still feel weak and weepy. 5% survival rate, incredibly high rate of transfer, can survive outside of the human system... this is the kind of virus that you see in horror movies, not real life.

Dammit I wanna see it out of the kind of morbid curiosity that makes me watch shark attacks on youtube then never go in the sea.
