11:40 Late Thursday Morning   Relaxing in the Cold The sun came to visit yesterday, so we went to the beach. I got a new belt, since my favourite one broke and it was the only one I brought. The sun stayed for a while. It lingered far back in the sky, it wasn't overhead. The sun cast long shadows, not short ones. A man was drawing giant pictures in the sand by the pier. He had a hat out to catch coins thrown by the audience that gathered on the edge of the pier to watch. We left the pier and danced along the beach. I wrote words on the shore to be licked away by the ocean later and dug some holes searching for sand crabs. We had to leave too early, but I fell asleep on the busride home. He was warm and we smelled like the sea. He went to coach his soccer team and I took a nap. When I woke up, the sun was gone. He woke me up, actually. He came in and told me that he wasn't going to any more soccer today because of his eye was hurting. We had tea, then I started hearing "As Time Goes By" in my head and demanded we go to The Warehouse to buy Casablanca. We watched it and ate M&Ms and it was wonderful. It was a good day. I wish I was doing something today. I want to play with Tom. I could always text him...yeah, i'll go and do that now. sometimes, you've just got to dance. It looks so peaceful there.
Nothing like California.
Stupid SoCal kids.
Our city is less than that... 100,000 or so? I meant the water, the sand. It looks so untainted by pollution and gross things like sewage, like here. He is a boy from a long time ago who broke my heart, but I managed to fix it. He keeps showing up in my dreams, and at first it was really hard to deal with & understand; but now I've come to terms with it and I am fully over it. [See entry.] :)
Your pictures are adorable.
take care--
