this is probably the first time i've actually felt good enough to sit here, on the computer, for more than 5 minutes..or at least long enough to be able to update. i'm sorry! i've missed you guys though..aka sara and megan..even if you don't think so. i hope you've missed me too. but anyways, my surgery went really well and i'd like to tell you all about it, along with the past 5 days, but if i did then this entry would probably end up being wayyyyy too long, and then you wouldn't want read it anyways..sooo i'm not going to. all i've really done the past 5 days is lay down with my leg elevated, icing every 2 hours, and resting. that probably doesn't sound all that bad to you guys, but honestly, when you're not able or "allowed" to do anything it makes you wish you could. i absolutely hate not being able to walk. i have to have everyone do things for me, and get me stuff. it sucks! and for thoughs of you that really know me, i'm really independent and don't like having to rely on people to do things for me if i can find a way to do them myself. the pain medicine that i'm on made me sick the other night and it did make me constipated..so i don't really like it. besides all of the pain, not being able to walk, and my medicine being retarded, i'm physically alright i guess. enough of that! this morning my knee hurt really bad so i didn't go to church. then when my family got home, i took a bath, washed my hair, got dressed, then my mom helped me do my "exercises" that joe (my therapist) told me to do. then i iced my knee and kept it elevated until around 5:00 when i left with my mom and kim to go to evening church service. it was okay i suppose. afterwards we went to the copenhaver's house with the rest of the youth group because it's bethany's birthday, and they have a pool. so practically everyone got in the pool and swam. i stayed out, obviously, and a few other teens stayed out, including miss sammy who sat by me and we talked. it was very fun. there was yummy food too..hehe. but it was fun watching everyone, even though i would have liked to be in there with them. oh well! we left around 9:30 and took braden home. then we came home and all of us, including my dad, watched the new strong medicine show, because we're cool and we taped it. yay! it was very good. i love that show! and now it's 12:05 am and i'm sitting here writing this. i guess my day's been pretty good. i guess i'm going to go. later! p.s. i miss lauren a lot!!!
