I was help up. I didn't think that the lady at L.A. Nails would take so long. I kept telling her that I only wanted one diamond on the corner and she ended up putting 3 anyways. I still don't know why my mommy paid her when she didn't do what I told her to. Man, people can be cantankerous. I arrived home and daddy said they had gone down to the game. I felt bad because I knew nicole and kimber had been to my house and I said that I would be there. *sigh* That didn't work out. Oh well. I drove down. As soon as I stumbled out of my car I realized that I maybe should have worn a warmer jacket, or at least brought a blanket. I met ryan as I was walking up. I didn't feel so bad, I would have if I got there and he'd been there a while. Lucky break. I didn't really watch the game. Bailey and I talked most of the time. +Plus he let me use his blanket. He gets 10 points. He kept making this really goofy Scooby-Doo voice. Hillarious. After the game nicole went to her hair appointment and I ventured to mine. It took about an hour and 1/2. It wasn't what I wanted but it still looked appealing. And antithetic. When I went back to my house [nicole was back by then] and I put on my dress and make-up I felt really artificial and...not myself. But I guess that's why people do it right? To look different and feel different? I'm not sure if I liked it or not. *shrugs* It doesn't really matter. Kimber showed up and we all "oohhed" and "ahhhed" about each others dresses and hair. I put on my shoes and I'll admit, I was pretty nervous about walking down they stairs. Nicole went first. I went next all graceful and poised. I felt kinda like what cinderella must have felt when she walked down the swirling stairs to the ball. And then... I tripped down the last 2. It was embarrassing, but really really funny. At the top of the stairs I had just said "Yeah, that would pretty much suck if I tripped down the stairs". *sigh* Ryan, scott and bradey were all waiting for us. They looked really nervous. Especially ryan, this being his first date and everything. Heh. Poor kid. He was really cute though. He opened the door to the car for me. Then while driving said how pretty I looked and how much fun we would have. Then he raced around to the other side to open my door when I got out. Perfect gentlemen. He was nervous though. I could tell. + he told me. Then we had pictures. It took a long time. I was impatient and wanted to get to the dance. lol Oh well, we got some cute ones though. Our single is going to be hott! The dance was about as fun as a school dance can be. I enjoyed myself. They played some really nice songs and I think I danced with everyone except bradey. My favorite though was when scott asked me to dance and we danced on the little platform light-up thing. It was cute, and we had a funny 2 minute conversation. Then Scary Movie 3 at scott's house topped it off. *sigh* It was fun.
