Listening to: Guster-What You Wish For
Feeling: shy
I was driving from point A trying to get to point B [home] .
It was 3/4th's of the way there, on the right side of the road that it came into glimpse.
A diminutive deer.
It was so fleeting, and it had been clipped.
It was trying to mount up on it's crippled legs.
I stopped, thinking that I would help it or something.
I advanced out of my car and felt an electric shock navigate through my entire body at the pandemonium that reached my ears.
It was screaming.
The worst afflicted sound I've heard in my entire life.
It was writhing everywhere, there was nothing I could do, and never having any experience on what to do..I slumped back in my car, drove home, called animal control and let them take care of it.
It was probably an accident, but how could whoever hit it just leave it there? Why didn't they call animal control? Why didn't they do something?
Why didn't they take a little responsibility and do what they could.
Damn people.
I hate them.
I didn't even know they could.
that's kind of traumatic.
I'm sorry, Chels.
you're right, we do need to work on talking more.
