Saturday What a beautiful day it was. I had to spend the morning inside helping my mom out around the house. Deep clean the vanity, kitchen, and play room. Do dishes, laundry, etc. It was alright. Later I ate a light brunch then went running for 2 hours. It felt really good to be moving, get my heart pounding, blood flowing. After I took the most glorious shower of all time and then headed down to Sarah's house to play with my brand new sidewalk chalk! We played on the cement for awhile, talking about German Forest Management, pruning fruit trees, and how obnoxious car horns are. I love this light jacket weather. Feeling the sun soak into my skin and the warmth of it in my hair felt really nice. After a while we just laid on the cement in silence listening to the birds, bikers speeding by, we even saw what I have to say MUST be the first bee of the season. We ate some rice and bread, chatted a little bit and then I headed back up to my house to upload some pics and clean my room up a bit. At about 7:30 I headed over to Nichelle's. Zach and Katie made some awesome potatoes, and some chicken [which I just couldn't eat for some reason] followed by some awesome berry cobbler. Those guys are incredible. I wish I was a better cook. I suppose I should start trying to do something about that. I'd really like to be able to make some sweet goodness,and learn how to follow a recipe. We played Curses, which was a lot of fun. I was worried that with this particular group of friends that it wouldn't be as much fun as it was with Sarah and Emily. But Nichelle, James, Zach, Jess, Katie,and Jordan all rose to the challenge and it ended up being a blast!! We took some video of it and some really awesome pictures, and then while the rest chatted it up in the living room Nichelle and I cleaned up her kitchen and washed the dishes. We listened to Brian Reagan for a bit [Hilarious!] and then I headed out. Today is Easter Sunday! I love Sunday's because for me it's a special day. It's a day to dress up and look a little bit nicer. Spend a little more time on my hair and make up. A time to reflect and recommit to the goals that I've made spiritually. It's when I get to go to church and be with all those people that I love, and partake in the lessons that they've all prepared. I don't know. Sunday is always a rockin' day. And today is even more special because of Easter! I'm excited to go to church. And I still have about another hour until I should leave! I'm always impatient. I guess that's a good thing. I'm glad I don't hate church anymore. I'm glad it's back in my life because I'm so much happier with it. _____________________________________________ Anyways, time to go finish up on my hair, read my scriptures, figure out what shoes I'm going to wear and brush my teeth!
