I really worry about people who claim that requiem for a dream is their favorite, or one of their favorite movies. I think its ok to love the camera work and appreciate everything that goes into it, especially jared leto, but to say that it’s a favorite is a bit disturbing. Its interesting, and beautiful, and sad and everything, but isn’t a favorite movie something that you could watch over and over? Before I become friends with you, id just like to know if requiem for a dream is a movie you’ve seen more that a few times. If so, lets not be around each other anymore, youre mentally disturbed and I don’t like you or people like you. Basically, I think people who say that this is their favorite movie do not actually believe what they are saying. I think theyre trying to prove that theyre tough and can handle shit like that and that they watch artsy movies. Really, well that’s great, but what a fucking jooooooke man. Anyone who says that they love watching peoples lives deteriorate and arms going blue and heroin injections and prostitution of the saddest sort over and over, youre so ridiculously fake. But that’s only my opinion.
