Listening to: I Dreamed a Dream-Les Mis
Feeling: annoyed
School today was like every other school day...torture. But it was even worse today because of a bunch of people, but one in particular. I'm not going to put her name, but I will tell you she's gotten on my last nerve.
All I did was tell Mr.Perry I could bring Les Miserables for us to watch, when SHE said that broadway had no point. She also said that the only people that like it wear all black and black berets. That was it. I got soooo upset, I got all defensive and protective. Because a.I have not met ONE person who wears all black that's involved with theatre, b.Theatre is much more intriguiing and exciting than any work out or sporting activity could ever be(and that is just opinion so athletes dont get mad at me.) There are many other reasons why she was wrong. I just couldn't take it. And then like 5 other people in the class trash mouthed theatre and broadway. I hate it. I hate Cardinal Newman! Almost everyone is so close minded.
Fortunatly, I had broadway bound today. I think I would die without that hour and a half. It just puts me in a good mood. Dedra wasn't there, so Lou was our teacher. Savannah led the warm up which was quick and simple. Then, we sang! I love singing haha.
We started with the BCPE songs, then One Short Day. It felt good knowing all the words. I sat in the middle of the floor with Catherine and Hannah.
After that, we worked on the One Short Day dance. Then, Lou said we could do whatever. Wicked was still playing, and Hannah sang "Popular" to me and I played the part of Elphaba. I have to admit it cheered me up, and for those few mintues I completly forgot a/b school. I was Elphie and she was Galinda, and it was perfect. But then the song ended, then class ended. And now I'm here dreading school tomorrow. Thank God I have tap tomorrow night!!
