Listening to: Little Women
Feeling: better
I was sick today, so I have time on my hands to write in here.
Friday was one of those days where you have fun things to do and they make classes go by slowly. Finally it was time for the pep rally. The only thing that makes me truly happy about cheerleading is the dance. I wish I could say that stunts and chants gave me that rush of adrenaline, but only the dance can do that. I felt the energy as I did the dance, and then the rest of the pep rally was a bore.
After school, I came home, took a shower, and got ready for the coming home games. Cate come over during that process, and we watched my recording of The Early Show with the cast of Little Women on it. Happiness.
At the games, I saw hiiim. I wish I didn't like him as much as I do, it's defintly unhealthy.
After the games(we won both!), Cate and I went to see The Wedding Date. It was SO cute. It made me really, really, want to be loved, and have a boyfriend.
After the movie, Cate and I came home, and went to sleep relatively early.
The next morning we left for Myrtle Beach. It was such a cool experience. I forgot how fun it is to like go to the beach with a friend.
We went to Broadway at the Beach which is like a huge touristy fun place. We rode this weird little machine that was fun, and bought fake cigarettes from a trick store. We also ate lunch at Planet Hollywood where she got a drink called a Finding Nemo which well...yeah.
Then we got ready for Thoroughly Modern Millie. We both wors red dresses but Cate wore jeans under hers. We agreed that we were the only Hardcore Millie fans in the theatre when we arrived.
We sat down and listened for others who knew what they were talking about and found a guy gay that spoke of how amazing Sutton Foster was in Millie.
Of course we saw the understudies for both Millie and Miss Dorothy. But I still enjoyed the show a lot. During the curtain call, Cate and I were the only people standing until Millie came out.
Of course seeing a show made me really want to be in a show.
We ate dinner at Hard Rock, but I felt ill and didn't each much.
When we got to the hotel we basically just got in bed, talked a little, and went to sleep.
Next morning, we had to leave. It was sad.
Overall, it was a really fun trip, and we plan to go back. Yay.
I had the BEST WEEKEND EVER!! I can't wait for the next one!
xoxo Cate
