Simple, but it's not

Feeling: ambivalent
Well. I thought I would sprint to the computer to document our first Beauty and the Beast rehearsal, but it's really not that thrilling. Don't get me wrong, I'm probably one of the happiest people there because it's a show, and gosh do I love shows, but there's just something missing. I guess it's just such a different type of cast than the one from Bye Bye Birdie, plus it's a different director..one that happens to make me so mad with every word she said. After ruining Broadway Bound @ Town, I don't know if I'll ever be able to appreciate anything that comes out of Shannon or Sandra's mouths. Anyway! We had our "read through" last night, even though we never even looked at the script. All we did was sit and listen to Shannon talk about how big and important this show is blah blah blah. Then, we worked on the Transformation/finale vocals. For our first rehearsal, we sounded good! Today I had voice at noon. Then musical theatre with Cindy. Then a vocal rehearsal for "Belle". It was pretty fun. We sound good in my opinion. I talked to John(this guy that grew up next door to me, and who works for Broadway Cares, and is getting Anthony Rapp to come see our show), Hannah, Lori Castille(she's the cookbook in the show), and Mac(I believe that was his name). I'm sure I'll have more fun with this show once we start blocking and such. I am truly looking forward to it though.
