"Keep hands off pies or else!"
This was the note I left on the refridgerator door before going off to take a nap. Why? It's my little insurance that David won't get into my freshly-made pies before they're done.
Yes, Mr. Quiet Seth has made two - count them, TWO - strawberry pies today. As some of you know, I grow strawberries. And I'm very proud of my strawberries. But, they've been ripening all at once lately and I just don't know what to do with my berries - so! I made pie.
I like pie. I really, really LIKE pie.
I think that very few people actually realize just what kind of a love affair I have with my pie. And no, it's not an American Pie thing, either - perverts. I just really love pie ... more than cake! People just don't understand.
That's why Michael is one of my favorite movies - if not for the whole spiffy story, but also for the scene where Andi sings about pie. Oh, me oh my, I love pie.
Well, anyway, David left the pies alone and thus! I partook in finishing them, and now we are both enjoying tasty slices of crusted strawberry goodness.
I don't think I'll be able to finish mine, though, due to the pizza binge earlier. But, no worries! I know what's for breakfast tomorrow. And I know that between David, his girlfriend, baby-to-be and me, we can have these pies eaten in a matter of three days. Tops.

This was a pleasant entry, I think! Yay for pleasant entries!
