You got me feelin' hella good so I'm gon' keep on dancin'
Mmm ... Brownie Bread.
From Great Harvest - it's a local bread company - they make a lot of kickass loaves from scratch. Mmmmm.
It's like a brownie - but it's bread ... it's brownie bread! It's soooooooo good! Fuck yeah! You know what would go great on it, though? Powdered sugar. AWW YEAH!
So anyway, yeah, I've discovered the perks of being a vegetarian. Since I'm not eating meat anymore, I have to find my calorie sources in other areas. The best areas to find calories is actually in vegetables, fruits, and grains - and what better way to get these than to visit my local Great Harvest bread company?!
Which is conveniently close to a fresh produce stand ... on sunny days, anyway.
Strawberries are starting to come in. BOOYAH. Won't be too much longer until I'm drowning in shortcakes and pies galore.
You've probably been wondering about me. And I assure you, I'm getting over a rather earth-shattering illness, but I am getting better. Last week was the battle of the bands at Wildcat and I just had a shitload of fun there. All the bands I liked made it to finals, which are this weekend. Guess I won't be around again. Tee hee. Oh well.
This is the last week of classes so pooh. I still have a bunch of maps due for Geography. I'll get them done these next couple of nights.
I've actually been sleeping fairly well. I went to bed early last night, though ... like ... before 9 - yes, SHOCK! HORROR! SETH IN BED BY NINE!
I missed Supernanny. I hate myself now. Oh well, I'm sure I'll catch it during summer reruns.
I never understood that, by the way, about the reruns in the summer. Isn't that when everyone's relaxing and breaking and stuff. Wouldn't you want to show the new shit during that time instead of three months of rerunapalooza?
Yeah, I know, brownie bread + chocolate milk = Super Hyper Seth
Life is good. I'm getting back on a regular schedule at work - things are finally starting to work out there with management. It makes me happy. I just wish we had more night people. I've gone back to working the kitchen at night. And I'm okay with that. My new hours - starting next week - are 10 AM - 6:30PM ... great. But that means I'll be home in time for CSI and Law & Order every night.
And that makes me a happy Seth.
Still have a few hundred dollars left to pay off on my tuition - but after this weekend, I should be able to pay it all off.
In which case I will happily be online more, I think. But not much, my friends, because I realize I'm actually doing pretty okay.
I think the radiation from the computer monitor's been causing me depression. Yeah. I've actually felt mentally better since getting excruciatingly busy.
On the other hand, I've had a couple of breakdowns - but nothing that a couple of weekends away with the band hasn't cured. You know the kind - where you feel pointless, like you haven't made an impression on this world, never will, and that it would actually be better off with you creating fertilzer with your lifeless body instead of actually living in it.
Yeah ... I've had a couple of those breakdowns.
But I'm better now.
Even Jack is smiling.
BUT..I have missed ya big time so I'm glad you are okay..Oh yea, Xander has a rash..Nate the human gave it to her..he's a walking STD I tell ya!
Okay hunny, you go on with yer bad self. Do those maps, get that money, and stay healthy!
*Smiles for you with lots of love*
