There was no movement from her. I froze and couln't move my eyes from her. I felt fear. In my mind I kept calling her name, and I kept talking to her, but I knew she did not recognize my voice. A bitter taste started to build up inside me. My words became stronger, as I began to panic. I was so lost with fear, I did not recognize what went on around me. To this day, I never felt safe, when Rae went off to the barn. I never want to loose anyone, I mean who does? Her breaths constantly changed. At one point she seemed to have lost her breath, at another she tried to eagerly grasp air. I felt her forehead; it burned and I couldn't remove my hand, as my mind just went blank and for that moment, time froze for me. The bitter taste inside me travelled up my throat and a tear ran down my face.
