Me and Cloud roamed the forest surrounding the small town late the next night, after we had heard rumours around that a serial killer from a nearby town snuck into town the night before when we were taking out my former friend. We had caught onto his trail earlier that night, and we'd been following him ever since. He'd been stalking someone for a while, but had turned away when some guards roamed the streets, still looking for me. I see another confirmed killer walking down the street. "I'll take the new guy." Cloud says, then jumps off the roof of the building silently. "I guess I'll take the other guy..." I say, jumping off the roof as well. I see Cloud run towards the new guy and pull out his buster sword. I turn my attention towards the other killer and quietly pull out my katana. He must've heard me creep along the dirt ground because he whipped out a sword of his own and swung several attacks towards me. I manage to block most of the attacks and strike back with a few of my own, slashing his forearm open. He drops his sword and shouts out in pain, attracting the attention of several guards. "Dammit." I curse silently. I quickly make a quick swipe and take off his head. I turn around to see that Cloud had already easily disposed of his quarry. "We must move!" He says to me, obviously noticing that the guards were surrounding us. I nod and then start running towards the nearest building, when a guards steps in front of me. I run right into his armour and am thrown backwards to the ground. I slice out his legs with my katana and jump to my feet. I look up at Cloud, who had already found his way to the top of the building and was waiting for me. I continue running as fast as I can towards the building and rump up onto the balcony. Together, me and Cloud run across the rooftops, until we reach the dark forest surrounding the town. We've escaped for another night.
