I walk through the darkness along a narrow road with Lestat and Kendrick following me. Since the beginning of my vampiric life a few days ago, the scars I had vanished, as did any wound or scar I bore during my life. Only the pain I had had strengthened somewhat since the last time I felt it. I am dreading the day I become thirsty for blood, but I guess I'll have to feed off the living if I wish to survive.
But my first goal is to continue hunting down Cervantes. I sword that on Vincent's grave, and I would not rest until I found him and killed him.
I look ahead and see the lights of a distant town.
"Can we make it before dawn?" Kendrick asks.
"Probably. Let's pick up the pace." I say, starting a jog towards the town. They all keep up with me until we reach the town.
I slow my pace and start walking through, to find that the town is a ghost town, nobody was around, and the only lights were candles burning in the windows of abandoned homes.
"What the hell is this?" I ask silently.
We hear a growl and a beast similar to the one me and Vincent fought in the blazing town so long ago leapt over a building and landed in front of us.
"Die!" It shouts at us, and pulls a massive sword from a sheath on its back.
It swings its sword at me, and I roll to the side to save my life. I pull out Vincent's triple barelled hangun and fire off several shots, hitting it in the neck. Its crimson blood spurts and flows from the wound as it turns its attention fully towards me.
I pull out my katana and ready for combat. It swings its blade down at me. I dodge the attack and run towards it. As I run by its leg, I slice it open with my katana. Its crimson blood flows from the wound down its leg, and it screams in pain.
When I am a few meters behind it, I turn towards it and leap onto its neck.
"Where is Cervantes?" I yell. Its eyes dart up towards me in fear.
I pull my katana back and stab it into its back. It screams in pain and more of its crimson blood flows the wound.
"Where?!?" I yell.
"Over there! Deep within that forest!" It says.
"Thanks." I say, before pulling the blade of my katana out of the wound.
The pain subsided, and I felt the thirst for blood Lestat had described to me.
I saw the blood flowing from the beast whose shoulder I say crouched upon, and it hurt to see the blood flowing and not drink of it.
I bared my fangs and sank them into the beast's neck.
It sqeeled and screamed as I slowly sucked the lifeforce of the creature. It dropped to its knees and fell forward.
I pulled my fangs out of its neck and wiped my mouth clean of its blood. I put my katana back into its sheath and put the triple barelled handgun back into its holster.
"Nice work." Kendrick says, walking towards me with his arms crossed.
Lestat nods at me. I nod back and start walking towards the forest the monster described at a fast pace.
