Luke's plan was interesting. He proposed that we, Kathleen, him and myself, create an order to combat evil, and prevent other wars like the one we had just fought. He proposed the uniform should be like the one he and I wore, the members should have blades similar to ours, only in a variety of colours, depending on the user, and together we would use the mountain range as our base of operations. He also said that we would only have a limited number of people, say a small army of about two hundred.
He said that we should train most of the day until we are the best swordsmen around, and train in a variety of combat, although we would try to negotiate our way out of different situations.
He said that himself, Kathleen and I would be the leaders of this order, and we would use our skills of negotiation rather that the sharpness of our blades to solve a situation.
I agreed, and that night, The Order was born.
We set out almost immediately to find people selfless enough, courageous enough and brave enough to join The Order.
Kathleen, Luke and I dressed outselves in uniforms like mine, and wore hooded Black cloaks as well, and we set out, Kathleen and I heading one way, and Luke heading the other.
The first night of travel we met a vampire named Sumath, who stood shorter than I was, who wore black garments. At his waist was a sword that was very broad, and looked as though it was made from steel. His black hair was kept cropped short, and he had a long purple scar running down the side of his face.
When I talked with him he told me he had fought with me during the Vampire/Human War, and that he was proud to fight for the freedom of his fellow vampires. I considered him for a moment, he met two of the three expectations for The Order. I told him if he wished to join The Order he was welcome. I told him the requirements, and he agreed.
I gave him accurate directions to The Order's base of operations back in the mountains, and hoped he would find his way.
That night we met another vampire named Chraden. He stood much taller than I was, and is grey eyes stood out on his pale skin. He had long blonde hair that flowed down over his shoulders, and had to hunch down to walk through doors. He wore black garments similar to Sumath, and surprisingly, he met all of the expectations for The Order.
Sensing the night was coming to an end, Kathleen and I escorted Chraden back to the mountain base of The Order, where he was introduced to Sumath.
Thw two chatted for a long while, while Kathleen and I enjoyed some time together.
"I think tomorrow night we'll have to head north and seek out the vampires there." Kathleen said. I nodded.
I gave her a quick kiss. "I'm hoping we'll find many more tomorrow night. But two tonight wasn't bad either."
She nodded slowly, and I felt Luke's presence approaching.
He entered the cave, with four vampires behind him. Two males and two females. After talking to Luke when he arrived, I found out that the males' names were Skelor and Enlor, and the females' names were Tiaina and Chemora.
Skelor stood as tall as Chraden, although his kept his light brown hair cropped short like Sumath. Enlor had bright green eyes, and hair as black as night, which flowed down over his shoulders. He stood as tall as Luke. Tiaina and Chemora stood as tall as I was, and Tiaina had long black hair the same length as Chemora's blonde hair. Tiaina had eyes as blue as ice, and Chemora had eyes as red as fire.
At all of their waists hung long bladed steel swords, which Luke told me he would temper into blades similar to his and mine. He had already questioned them as to what colour they wanted it, and he told me the next night, while I set out for recruits, he would temper the blades and watch over the new recuits.
I smiled. For the first night, everything with The Order was going well.
