Kathleen and I returned several nights after we set out, with four more vampires trailing behind us.
Kathleen had found two of them. Two females, the first named Skelis, and the second named Rilhat. Skelis looked a little older than us, with gray seeping its way into her black hair. She had brown eyes and a petite form, which was different than Rilhat. Rilhat had red-gold hair, bright green eyes and was much taller than Skelis. Both wore black garments, which matched Kathleen's and my own.
I found the other two, two males. The first was named Ildek, and the second was named Quexos. Ildek was a man of short stature, ad kept his blond hair cropped short. He had bright blue eyes, and was glad he was welcomed into The Order. Quexos looked like pure evil. His eyes were a dark red, and his long black hair flowed over his shoulders. His facial expression was one of anger all the time, so it made me cautious around him. After I questioned him, I found he was noble, selfless, courageous and brave, meeting all of the expectations The Order had, so Kathleen and I led the four to our mountain base.
When we arrived Luke was training the recuits in sword combat with their newly forged swords.
Sumath had a green blade, Chraden had a blue blade, Tiaina had a blue blade as well, Chemora had a green blade, and Skelor had a silver blade. It wasn't silver like steel, it shone silver in the light, and in the dark it was almost transparent. Enlor also had a blue blade, which he used with some skill, compared to the other students.
Luke saw me approach with the four new students, and he welcomed them. I placed my cloak along the edge of the cave, and stood before the students. The ones that were taining looked up at me, and the ones who had just arrived joined them.
Luke stood beside me, and Kathleen stood close beside me. I put my arm around her, and addressed the students.
"Students," I started, "you have been chosen to join the elite ranks of The Order. You will be trained in our ways, so you can use your skills against evil. You have been chosen because you are all courageous, brave, selfless and noble in character. Luke, Kathleen and I will be your instructors until you are skilled enough to become instructors as well."
The students nodded, and I smiled.
I turned to Luke. "Luke, you've got some more blades to temper, and I have a whole new crop of students to train."
