When I awoke that evening, Inekwar greeted me, dressed in a new suit of white armour. He told me that an army of five thousand had been gathered from all the remaining groups of guards, and some rouge groups roaming the land as well. I was happy to hear this, and Inekwar told me he wanted to join me in my quest to fight for the survival of vampires. "But I thought you didn't like vampires." I said. He looked at the ground as we walked, and then back up. "That was before I found out my father was fighting for their survival." He replied. I nodded slowly. His mother must've made me seem almost noble with her stories about me. He had grown hearing of this kind of noble father who had dissappeared, and now had come back into his life, a vampire on a noble quest. "I don't think you mother will like you coming along, so talk to her first. I don't want you running away from home to fight with me." I said. I amazed myself. I had never sounded so concerned or worried about someone in my entire life. We went seperate ways at a V in the corridor, and I headed left, to meet with my army, and confirm myself as their leader. I walked quickly with my hands clasped behind my back, and walked outside of the castle to meet with them, as they had to camp outside. "Are you any good with that?" A guard said as he pointed towards my sword, which was strapped to my side. "I've slain armies with swords. I know how to use them quite well." I said, an anrgy rasp filling my voice. They took a step back in fear. I continued walking through the army, until I felt a tap on my shoulder. Inekwar was standing there, panting a tired. He had obviously run from his mother's chambers to meet up with me. "She says I can go but she's coming along." He said, sounding almost disspointed. I nodded, and he fell into step beside me. We walked to where three horses were waiting for us. I hoppped onto one, as did Inekwar. His mother came soon after, dressed in a suit of golden coloured armour with her sword at her side. Together, at the head of an army, we rode to where my vampire group was awaiting me, but also to where our first battle would take place.
